My experience was so bad I wrote a letter to the CEO. Let me share with you. Dear CEO Jorge, I felt the need to reach out to you about what was easily my worst experience buying a car. I knew exactly Let me share with you. Dear CEO Jorge, I felt the need to reach out to you about what was easily my worst experience buying a car. I knew exactly what I wanted when I saw the car posted online at your Honda Deland store. I called and spoke to J, who seemed very uninterested in helping me, would not place a deposit on the car to hold it for me, and when texting him all my details, didn’t seem to care in the least (if he responded at all). I called then the next morning (Saturday) figuring the car would be sold to someone else and asked if I needed to bring a check from X CU or if the finance person could pull it from their system. I was told no problem either way. So I took an Uber for $111 60 miles to the store to find out that information was incorrect. So first thing is I asked the finance manager G if I could get a loaner to go to the bank to get a check before they closed in 2 hours. He tried to sell me his loans instead, which was fine, except that I said I needed to step out and call X to see what my rate was. He then screamed at me that I was rude to him for moving to step out of his office, and then he jumped out of his chair and screamed at me to get out. I paused and looked at him to see if he was going to come after me and if I needed to defend myself. As he came around the desk and realized I was much bigger than him, he completely changed his tune and capitulated “oh yea ok go call the bank.” I called the bank and then returned to tell him my rate and he was busy flirting with my mother. He is a disgusting individual. An hour later it was decided I needed to go to X and get a counter check anyway, and J finally gave me a loaner of which I had to race with 20 minutes left to a bank 40 minutes away. I did not make it and had to beg for help through the door which the nice ladies gave. I returned with my check and had to wait 3 more hours just to sign it over to G as they made us wait for everyone else to check out. G continued to complain with a smile on his face how “rude I was” to him for leaving to call my bank. I asked him afterwards how you sell so many cars considering your staff is bottom of barrel and his response was “we’re cheap.” Worst place I ever bought a car from. However your front counter lady L was delightful. I hope she gets a better job soon. Congratulations. Michelle J More
