"When you’re 1300 miles from home and have a leaking rear..."

When you’re 1300 miles from home and have a leaking rear differential, you hope for the best. Wow! We absolutely got the very best today! Our hometown service manager arranged an appointment for us at Coggin Honda, and Kelly met us with a warm greeting. She was welcoming, prepared, professional, and knowledgeable. Our technician, Peter, identified the reason for the leak, and went above and beyond to repair it securely. He needed to replace a damaged drain plug. He showed us the damaged plug, explained the needed repair, and demonstrated ingenuity by using a longer bolt to compensate for stripped threads. He kept us informed of his progress, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, we could not have wished for a better experience! Thanks, Kelly and Peter, for your outstanding service!

"I recently visited the dealership's service department..."

I recently visited the dealership's service department for a simple brake pad replacement. Upon me walking toward my service advisor to pay for the services I received, I noticed an employee taking pictures of my vehicle (360° view of the exterior, my tag, the interior and my Sheriff decal located on my back windshield). I immediately asked him if there was a problem and why was he taking pictures of my vehicle. His responded by asking me if I was the owner of the vehicle. Of course, I replied yes and then he proceeded to "explain" to me that there is a client looking for a vehicle the same year and model as my vehicle. This story he told me could very well be true; however, it's disappointing that he was Coggin Deland Honda's General Manager and that he decided not to receive my consent to capture pictures of my personal property on his personal cell phone. It's the principle of the matter. He apologized but still appeared a bit perplexed and possibly aloof as to why I was upset about him breaking any remaining trust I had with this dealership and how intrusive his actions were. I've never felt so violated and disrespected at a dealership (to this degree) in my life. I'm in the market to explore newer vehicle options which had he simply asked me to take pictures for the reason he gave, I would have been inclined to agree and give my consent. But this wasn't the case. In summary, please be very cautious and aware of the transparency, integrity, and actions of the teammates at Coggin Deland Honda!!!!

"Bad service"

I went to have a tire change and they put it no backwards. The loan suck they got. me 14.5 interest rate .went to tje back and got 5.0 went from 300 a mo to250 a month 72 month to a 60 month. So please go and shop this dealership is not the only honda dealer in fla.whet to daytona and the mechanic stole my handicap card that goes on my mirror !!!!! So be prepared. TO GET RIP OFF !!!!!!!! Its going to cost you $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
