I've been waiting for almost 2 years to replace the faulty Takata airbags in our 2007 Mustang. After 5 to 10 calls to this dealership and unreturned messages from service managers, the national Ford call center finally got someone at Coggin Ford to schedule an appointment, saying they had the parts in stock. I dropped off the car and they only had the passenger side, not the driver side. They did a great job replacing one air bag but said "call back in a month" to see if the driver side would be available.
Maybe all Ford dealerships are having problems getting these parts, but Coggin's responsiveness to my request has been way below expectations. I hope they can devise a more professional response for customers facing this airbag issue. Rob and everyone in service were great, but management needs to step it up to properly address this Takata airbag nightmare!
