Irritated & Aggravated by Another Dealership I would like to offer my support and thanks to the entire team at Coggin Service Department but would like to make exception to recognizing Brian Beck I would like to offer my support and thanks to the entire team at Coggin Service Department but would like to make exception to recognizing Brian Beck and Laurie Beck for recognizing my frustration and aggravation with an issue that was NOT Coggin's in any way; but as a fellow NISSAN partner; they took the reigns to make me feel comfortable, welcomed and important. Brian and Laurie did an amazing job making my experience less abrasive and helped calm my traumatized state of mind. I'm very thankful for the level and degree of service provided to me by Brian, Laurie and the entire staff; other dealerships could definitely learn a thing or too from the level of customer service provided by Coggin Nissan's staff. CUDOs to a job well done; I will totally recommend this dealership and be forever grateful for your assistance! More
Exceeded Expectations!!! I previously said they "Don't live up to commitments made when purchased", I WAS WRONG!!! They went way above and beyond to rectify my issue. Don't live up to committments made when purchased Purchased additional coverage on interior and exterior. It is a third party warranty. I initially did not want to purchase this coverage because of pr Purchased additional coverage on interior and exterior. It is a third party warranty. I initially did not want to purchase this coverage because of previous experience with similar products, but when they assured me that everything would be handled by this dealership in-house and I would not have to jump through the hoops dealing with "Protector" company, I made the mistake of believing them. When I recently attempted to utilize this warranty, guess what, the dealership had amnesia and directed me to Protector which intentionally made the process so cumbersome that I gave up and paid to have the work done. Not only that, but I did get to speak the General Manager, Joe Koziol and he said he would make good on the dealerships promises, I never heard back from him and neither Mr. Koziol or the Service Department Director will take or return my calls. So much for dealership commitments and transparency. More
Once you sign the dotted line they don't care about you We traveled 2 hours to get a 2013 Nissan Altima because prices were better here than in Savannah. The advertised price for the car was around $15,900. We traveled 2 hours to get a 2013 Nissan Altima because prices were better here than in Savannah. The advertised price for the car was around $15,900. We start seeing paperwork and the car jumps to $18,900. Um, okay whatever, we got past that because it was still a good price for the car. Went back a week later with our down payment and to sign paperwork and we mentioned a few minor details that we wanted fixed with the car. Well, the service department wasn't open so we are told to take it to our nearest Nissan dealer because of our distance. Turns out squeaky brakes aren't covered in a warranty. WHY this car's brakes are squeaky is beyond me, seeing as it supposedly passed the "highest" inspection. Also, the center console is loose and my remote started acting up today. So of course I call Coggin to see what I should do. Coggin, whoever you have answering your phones is RUDE, to say the least. Horrible customer service and phone etiquette. Finally get to talk to the salesman. He's no help either. So on top of a new car payment, we are now going to have to spend money to see why my brakes are squeaky, fix the center console, and figure out why my remote is acting up? THANKS More

I had great help from Karla Lopez who got ball rolling over the phone. When I arrived Josh A. the internet sales manager gave me outstanding customer service in such a friendly environment second to none. This was my first time buying a brand new car. It wasn't a long drawned out wait everything was smooth. My last sit down was with Bryan Gering who gave me a tremendous deal. I left feeling great about my purchase and it felt just like old friends with everyone. Thanks Coggins Nissan on Atlantic! I've been telling everyone about you. -Javarie More
The ‘buying experience’ began by your team adding 13% to the “advertised” price of the vehicle for “dealer added options”. Although the ‘added options’ were not listed anywhere, I was assured that they wer the “advertised” price of the vehicle for “dealer added options”. Although the ‘added options’ were not listed anywhere, I was assured that they were added (whatever they were). When I declined to proceed with the sale, the sales manager ‘split’ the cost. As near as I can determine, I paid $829 for floor mats, window tint and wheel covers (and, of course, the dealer’s decal on the rear of the car). I had to add “as near as I can determine” because the sales agreement does not list any dealer added options/price, but increases the cash price of the vehicle by $829.00. The unexpected additional cost did not justify walking away, it was still a decent car at a decent price, but it was not a positive buying experience for that reason. Having driven my new car for four days, I noticed two items that should have been noticed and repaired before I left the dealership since the purchase agreement includes a $599.00 ‘service fee’ for “…inspecting, cleaning and adjusting…”. • The rear view mirror control on the passenger side does not work properly. The mirror cannot be adjusted to provide a rear view. I would have expected such a safety related item to be among the bare minimum of items inspected and corrected. • The top of the gear shift cover is coming apart- the stitching in unraveling. This is not a safety concern but should have been noticed and fixed prior to delivery. More
Mr. Clark went Above and Beyond when we purchased a 2008 Jeep. Had minor problem with auto the first day. Mr. Clark was Not Obligated to do Anything , as it was SOLD AS IS much less provide us with an alt Jeep. Had minor problem with auto the first day. Mr. Clark was Not Obligated to do Anything , as it was SOLD AS IS much less provide us with an alternate auto while ours was having a minor repair. This Proves the Integrity of Coggin ( Mr. Clark), even Compassion for our situation ( Compassion is Unheard of at ANY Dealership) and I am very Appreciative for the way Mr. Clark took care of our needs. He was Kind and understanding, not something you see everyday( Or Any Day) at a Dealership, much less on a Used Auto. We will send family and friends to Coggin Nissan in the future. The only complaint I have is a "lack" of communication with the Service Dept. Asking for an Update went unanswered after 4 or 5 calls , we then became frustrated and said, we would ask Mr. Clark, we sensed a little attitude, but received the Update we were asking for . We also feel like we received a Great Deal on our 2008 Jeep ! Brian , the Finance Manager also went Above and Beyond for us, a Very Pleasant Gentleman. Richard Wright and Will were the salesmen we dealt with , they also were Outstanding ! Thank You Mr. Clark, Mr.& Mrs. Williams More
