Buyer Beware: Poor Transparency I purchased a brand-new 2026 Toyota 4Runner from Jim Miller at Coggin Toyota about 2.5 months ago, and the experience has become very disappointing. Almost immediately, the 2026 Toyota 4Runner from Jim Miller at Coggin Toyota about 2.5 months ago, and the experience has become very disappointing. Almost immediately, the vehicle started making horrible noises when backing up. After bringing it to the dealership's attention, I learned this was a known issue, yet nobody disclosed it before the sale. While I understand that defects and recalls can happen, what I cannot understand is the lack of transparency. I've been told the replacement part is backordered, but communication from the dealership has been slow, inconsistent, and frustrating. As a customer who just spent a significant amount of money on a new vehicle, I expected better support and proactive updates. If you're considering buying from Coggin Toyota, make sure you ask lots of questions and get everything in writing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership More

They were not using the usual sales tactics of the urgent buy now before it's gone. I understand the psychology of trying to create desperation from low supply and increased demand. However sometimes people just want someone that is a honest broker since they are the ones that have to make the big purchase. I hope this dealership keeps the people they have on staff as they seem to also value the customer's experience and not just make a sale. More
