Coggin Toyota of Jacksonville tried to trick us into buying a vehicle by telling us that our vehicle needed a transmission. We took our car in to be checked out because it was vibrating when you acceler buying a vehicle by telling us that our vehicle needed a transmission. We took our car in to be checked out because it was vibrating when you accelerate between 40-50 mph. When they told what they found "it needs a transmission" and showed us how much it would be $6,092 were surprised, concerned and upset. The 1st response we got from Ron the service advisor was to direct us to the sales team to purchase another vehicle. We took our vehicle to a Keith Pearson Toyota and they told us that the problem we were having was covered under warranty due to a recall and there was no charge to fix it. We looked up the recall and it was from 2014. Coggin Toyota never said anything about the recall despite the fact that we've only had our vehicle serviced with them since we purchased it in 2014. Instead they lied and tried trick us into purchasing another vehicle from them. They lost us as customers and we'll never suggest anyone we know or anyone who asks us about getting anything from Coggin Toyota They tried to rip us off. More
