Wonderful experience using Coggin Toyota to purchase my new 2021 4Runner. I live 4 hours away which made it very necessary to have good communication. Communication was exceptional! Reuben Simpo is my regular service advisor who does an awesome job. Unfortunately, he was out today during my visit, which made me select any advisor. Upon arrival, Ron greeted me and was ready to service awesome job. Unfortunately, he was out today during my visit, which made me select any advisor. Upon arrival, Ron greeted me and was ready to service me; however, he saw that I was assigned to Mike and did not want to take his appointment. I walked over to Mike’s desk and advised him that I had an appointment for an oil change. He was not very friendly and said very little. I don’t even recall being greeted. Mike asked me to sign paperwork and advised me that he would take care of my vehicle while I waited. I preceded to the waiting area. During my wait a received a text message advising me of services recommendations, I declined them at this time due to funds. Once my vehicle was ready, he approached me in the waiting area and said some that was unclear. I responded “Excuse me.” and he said “Are you ready?”” I said yes and preceded to follow him over to his desk. He just printed off copies of the receipts and as I was signing slide the service recommendations over to me without any further communication. I paid and he went to retrieve my vehicle. This was the most unfriendly and unpleasant experience that I have had at Toyota of the Avenues in the last 5-6 yrs that I have been a customer. Reuben and Ron will be the only service advisors that I deal with from this day forward. If either of them are out, I will just have to postpone my visit until they return. More
