Financing Though the sales process was awesome, it was when we made it back to financing that things went off in left field! We were signing paperwork when the financing person got our interest in extended warranties and other protections for no more than just $11 over our monthly payment. We loved what they we offering and thought, all that for only $11 more a month, how could we pass that up! Once we got to the final paperwork, the finance person started having “problems”. He contacted the finance manager and they went off to try and “resolve” this problem. They came back and said since we were buying out of state, the taxes GA required were not rolling over. Our payment changed from $11 more to almost $50 more! If we weren’t capable of absorbing the additional cost, we would have walked away! This is just another shady example of how the auto industry tries to screw you! We were told that we should have incurred an additional $100 a month for the additional coverage, but with the use of “coupons” they bought our rate down we from 5.9% to 2.9%. And, the difference in a interest rate that was cut in half, didn’t add up to the $6000 for what we were paying for the additional coverages. It was almost like they held our new car and old car hostage for nearly 5 hours. What ever happened to honesty? Our sales associate was awesome, it is the shady practices that we believe the finance personnel are trained to do, that bothers us! We will never recommend this dealership for this reason! More
