Hands down, the most pleasurable experience I have ever Hands down, the most pleasurable experience I have ever had at a car dealership. I initially went through the internet and got an idea of what we Hands down, the most pleasurable experience I have ever had at a car dealership. I initially went through the internet and got an idea of what we were looking for. I was going to buy a four door full size truck. I currently own a Chevy Colorado four door but I wasn't interested in investing in the government any more than the taxes I already pay every year. We had an appointment at 1015 on Saturday morning to do a test drive. We did the internet search on Friday afternoon and submitted a request for information to Coggins Toyota and we were called Friday evening to schedule the test drive. I was a little surprised at how quickly the call back came on Friday. I also know that the car industry is hurting for customers, so it all made sense. The wife and I decided to have an early breakfast on Saturday morning and we found ourselves at the Nissan dealership with no one hovering over us. The wife and I were not very pleased with the available selection and the style did not exactly catch our eye. Our plan was to go to Toyota and then Ford. We showed up at Coggins Toyota around 0900 and as we pulled in, I mentioned to the wife that the "Vultures are circling" as I saw three salesmen waiting for us to get out of our truck. We were approached and I mentioned the name of Toni who had called me on Friday night. As my wife and I were looking at the Tundras on the lot, Mike Hicks came over and began showing us the vehicle, an hour and 15 minutes earlier than scheduled. I was impressed that they were able to do this earlier than scheduled. Mike took us on a test drive and Tundra was awesome. No issues. They even let my wife drive. Not sure I would have done that but they were good with it. The truck drove like a dream. After the drive, Mike took us to see Leo. Leo is an old Army veteran with a heavy accent (Russian). We hit it off immediately and he expressed his desire to sell the truck with minimal haggling and less pain for both parties. I expressed to Leo and Mike that my wife and I had something to do Saturday afternoon and that we would go take care of our business and go to the Ford dealership down the road, Mike Shad Ford. Before leaving, we were given a quote. I explained that if we bought the truck, we would need a spay in bed liner, the bed extender bars, and tubular side step bars added. The quote that we given showed all three items added ($1485.00) and an dealer discount for those at $1500.00. Not bad. Following our errands, we went to Mike Shad Ford and walked through the showroom and all around the lot, stopping and looking into the windows of all the four door full size trucks. Nobody even approached us to ask us if we needed help or if we were lost. We figured that they had sold all the four door full size trucks on the lot, (ha-ha) so after walking the lot and looking inside every truck, we left and went back to Coggins Toyota. The wife and I arrived and explained that the truck the we test drove was the one that we wanted, with those three things added. We did the passing of information and while doing our errands, we got a pre approval for the amount that we were willing to pay. Leo came in our little cubical with Mike and sat down and asked if we were ready to talk. I said yes as I got my best poker face on and then Leo pretty much knocked me out. He said, the truck is yours, out the door for XXXXX. This was 3,000.00 dollars less than what I had planned/been pre approved for, not to mention the 1500.00 dollar discount for those three items and all the tax -2000.00, title-450.00 , fees-700.00, ect...., you get the point. Needless to say, I accepted the deal. I spent more time drinking a soda there than haggling for a new truck. Go to Coggins Toyota and let them talk to you. The product is sound, the people are good people and the experience is awesome. Look for these folks. Mike Hicks- Sales Associate. Leo ( The Russian; I wish I could remember his name) Justin Stoescu- New Car Director, and David Surguine- General Manager (a former Ford guy, but don't hold that against him). Coggins Toyota wants to sell you a vehicle and make some profit off the sale. I agree with capitalism and have no problem participating in it. Even better was that I was given a great vehicle at a very reasonable price. V/R D Mullins More

A great experience from my initial contact with Tony via email to Tony watching me driving away in my beautiful new Prius. I got a good price on exactly the car I wanted and a smooth easy experience every email to Tony watching me driving away in my beautiful new Prius. I got a good price on exactly the car I wanted and a smooth easy experience every step of the way. I was treated with utmost courtesy and respect by everyone at the dealership. There was no pressure, no ultimatums or one time short term quotes and no financial surprises. Coggin was always very above board and professional. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who expects tremendous customer service along with a good competitive price. The way a car buying experience should be. And now I get to check out their service department and based on what I hear, I should expect the same. More
Earlier this year my wife and I bought a car from Chris Austin. He was very attentive, and was genuinely concerned with our needs. After the sale Chris followed up and took care of all my concerns. Recently, I bought a car from Coggin Toyota, and I want to say a big thank you to all those involved in helping me get my "new" Highlander! This is not the first car I have purchased from Coggin Toyota, bu to say a big thank you to all those involved in helping me get my "new" Highlander! This is not the first car I have purchased from Coggin Toyota, but I returned because they have been consistently far better than the other dealers in town. They are all courteous and very professional. Chris Austin was a friendly and patient salesman who made sure that my car was to my satisfaction before he turned the keys over to me. As for the service department, Jomar is the one to ask for. He treats the customer well and will insure a good experience each and every visit.Without a doubt, I would recommend Coggin Toyota to anyone who expects tremendous customer service! More

I really and truly appreciate the courteous and professional skills that Jack displayed with me at all times. You don’t meet a sales man like that every day. Buying a car can be a headache ad Jack Bowers made this deal go smooth. Other salesmen should follow his lead. He is truly an asset to the company. Once again thanks Jack. I usually don’t write thank you letters for people doing I usually don’t write thank you letters for people doing their job because I believe excellent service is the rule, not the exception. However, Cogg I usually don’t write thank you letters for people doing their job because I believe excellent service is the rule, not the exception. However, Coggin Toyota went above and beyond their call of duty to ensure I was a satisfied customer. I had an unfortunate experience with another Toyota dealership in town, which entailed five visits in four months and ended with my car in worse condition. My interaction with those representatives was almost surreal. I wondered if the high-quality brand that Toyota has earned over the years was heading in the direction of their American counterparts. The hassle of the situation was so overwhelming that I really didn’t want to deal with it anymore. I had heard great things about Coggin Toyota, but was hesitant to drive across town. However, the need to have my car serviced prevailed. I began going to Coggin Toyota and felt comfortable with their quality customer service. During one of my visits, I met Kathryn Stater, explained my situation and showed her the problems with my car. She then introduced me to the service manager, Rick Kelch, who told me he wanted an opportunity to fix the problem. We made an appointment, and upon arrival, Rick said he needed the car for a couple of days to fix it properly. He had made arrangements for a rental car free of charge. Remember, he was fixing a problem someone else created. When I picked up my car two days later, I couldn’t believe the quality of work they had done. Rick explained what the problem was, how he fixed it and he thanked me for giving him the opportunity. It’s very rare you come across someone who shows knowledge, pride and confidence in their job. Kelch has all of these qualities. I’ve also noticed this “can-do attitude” is prevalent among other Coggin employees I’ve interacted with, which I believe is a culture set by management. I’ve been a proud owner of two 4-Runners and a Tundra in the past nine years. My issue was never with the product, but with the service. In my opinion, you can’t have one without the other. My experience with Coggin Toyota has restored my confidence. I highly recommend this dealership for all of your auto needs. More
