Called my dealer on a Wednesday to talk about possibly trading in my 2010 Ford Focus for a bigger vehicle. On Saturday morning we drove from our house in Torrington to Danbury and within a short time dro trading in my 2010 Ford Focus for a bigger vehicle. On Saturday morning we drove from our house in Torrington to Danbury and within a short time drove out of the dealership with a 2013 Ford Fusion. Very happy with the vehicle being that we needed a car with a little more room. The salesman Pat Stavola was knowledgeable, helpful and overall great to work with. I have recommended this salesman & this dealership to many over the past few years and will continue to do so. I was given a great trade in on my vehicle and was able to keep my payments within my price range. Overall experience with Colonial Ford...150%!!! More

Other dealers were a day or two with their replies. Once I purchased the car (Ford CMAX Energi), Pat spend almost an hour going through every button, feature, function, voice command, and computer menus until I was comfortable pulling out of the lot. I have always bought American made vehicles, and after my experience at Colonial, I am looking to make them my dealer of choice for any and all future purchases. More

Brought my Escape into the dealer to address an air bag light and to fix a squeaky steering column that has been there since day one but had gotten worse after a service visit about a year ago. The air bag light and to fix a squeaky steering column that has been there since day one but had gotten worse after a service visit about a year ago. The air bag problem turned out to be a corroded wire harness, which was easy an inexpensive to fix. Unfortunately, it cost 2 hours of labor to analyze, identify and repair. There was a TSB on the steering column squeak that I'm very happy they were able to fix. But the labor cost was almost twice the cost of parts; an unfortunate reality. Overall, the service was top quality, the advisor was friendly, helpful and explained the diagnosis well. I'm happy that pesky squeak is gone. But, and this is why I avoid dealers for all but major and annoyance issues, I still feel dealers over charge for labor costs. More
