I have made an appointment for my Mitsubishi lancer evolution to be serviced for transmission problems at the end of 2012, the dealership had my car 1 month without servicing it. Each time I called I g evolution to be serviced for transmission problems at the end of 2012, the dealership had my car 1 month without servicing it. Each time I called I got the typical run around of why its not fixed, so 1 month of my car sitting in their lot while I pay for it and insurance on a car I can't drive. Needless to say this was very poor on their part. I picked my car up untouched after 1 month. Took the car back months later for another appointment. I was reluctant to do so but only other Mitsubishi shop was about another 45 mins away. This time it's going on 2 months without service again...this is 3 months now!!!!! $437 a month for a car I can't drive and plus $200 In insurance just for a car to sit in their car lot. But this ordeal gets worse, after being told lies a number of times about my car being in the shop I drive over 20 miles to their dealership to find my car outside while being told on the phone 3 days in a row that the car was tore apart. I call and complain and they offer no help whatsoever to help out with their horrible service. I was told by their service manager he was returning a call 2 weeks ago with an update he failed to call back, the owner was to call me the following day and failed to. It has taken me to file a complaint to the better business bureau and to file one with Mitsubishi to even try to get my car fixed. In all I would never recommend this dealer to service any vehicle on account of taking almost 3 months to even look into a car there is no way possible that they are that busy. I personally will not buy any car from this dealer just because if it needs service I would refuse to take it there ever again. This review is in no way to bash the company but to just get my situation out there very unpleasant to be without a car your paying for for 3 months. Hopefully this gets posted for others to read, the review explains my reasons for the 1 star ratings for the length to even move my car out of the same parking spot for months, for the lying I have heard, and the troubles to file complaints with other companies for this one not doing their job......update, after 3 months and almost $2,000 paid while the car was in their lot the owner calls claiming my voice mail was full so he couldn't contact me? I had 2 voicemails saved so I don't think that was the case, anyhow he offered 1 car payment which is nothing compared to 3 plus 3 insurance payments. When we talked on the phone about that he screamed and yelled because I didn't like his 1 payment offer. He claimed he wanted to help, if that was the case fix my car or pay me for the 3 months. But after this conversation on the phone I decide to go get my car back and take to another dealer. They are getting my car in their shop in 2 days and will only take about 1 day for Mitsubishi to decide who's paying...not taking weeks or months like colonial has told me numerous times. Ending conclusion is this was a horrible customer service from most of the service staff, they all willingly made up lies to a customer and treated me like garbage, glad I got my car back and have taken it to a different dealer where I'll get the car back in a week or 2 not months. I visited this dealership in fall of 2012 looking for a GMC Acadia. Joe Cardiello spent time with me and took me for a test ride in an used Acadia. When I informed Joe of our decision , her was very accepting and did not try to pressure us to change the time table. This response prompted a return visit in spring of 2013. Joe was patient and helped us work through several options for lease or purchase. We finally decided to purchase a used 2012 certified GMC Acadia. Throughout the process, he accommodated our work schedules and even offered to pick up our vehicle that was in for service at another dealership. Following the sale, he arranged for some repair work and helped get all the technology re-set and working on the vehicle. Based on our past experience with auto dealerships, this one was a pleasant surprise. We would refer anyone we know to Joe without reservation and we appreciate all his help. More

He also helped set up my On Star and was professional and courteous to the service rep. the whole time. I really felt like the task at hand was his number one priority. I would recommend anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle to go to Colonial Motor Mart and ask for Tommy. I love my car and thank them for giving me such great service! I work in a customer service field therefore good customer service is very important to me. Within a very short period of time I could tell Greg Martin was all about the customer too. I picked a cold rainy Saturday to look for a car and Greg very patiently walked around the car lot with me answering all my questions in a very respectful manner. Although I am very happy with my purchase it would not have been without the efforts of JD Grantz that I would have had the opportunity to make this purchase. JD has gone above and beyond his job duties to make my experience as easy as it could have been. When I started my search for a vehicle I had a lot of doubts that I would find something affordable or even find a company that would help me deal with finding a lender to work with my credit. I was currently paying on a truck with extremely high interest that was not even worth what I still owed. When I started to talk to JD he assured me that he would do whatever he could to help. I gave him my information and in no time at all I was meeting with him to go over all of my options. Not only did he find a creditor that would help me, it was also at a percentage rate that I would never have guessed I would be eligible for. The very next day I met with JD to sign papers on my new Nissan Titan. I never would have thought it would be overnight that I would be getting out from under my old truck loan and driving home a new truck. JD worked really hard to help me out of my old loan and finding a vehicle that I could afford but was also exactly what I wanted. I could not be any more appreciative for what he has done for me. I do not believe there are a lot of people that would have worked as hard as he has to help me. I will definitely be going to Colonial Motors for any purchases in the future.
