Arrived at the dealership without an appointment for a full synthetic oil & filter change like I always do. Usually I'm on my way home in 90 min. but this time it took a full 2 hours. I was also made very much aware that the price had increased a whole 50% since my last visit February of this year. The service waiting area has been recently remodeled and is very nice. I advised my Genesis service advisor, who sold me my Genesis G80 Sport 6 years ago, that this is the best car I've ever owned. I could go elsewhere to have my car serviced but feel comfortable returning to the the same dealership where my car was purchased. Looking forward to the brand new Genesis facility when they relocate down the road in June, 2024.(DBL) More
The dealer was great but I’m disappointed in the oil consumption of my new Genesis and the face that the complimentary oil changes are only at 8k and now the dealer says I need oil changes every 4k and consumption of my new Genesis and the face that the complimentary oil changes are only at 8k and now the dealer says I need oil changes every 4k and I’ll have to pay out of pocket. Not fair! More
I did not stay in the waiting room for the oil change and had told the technician of that plan when I dropped my car off. He said my brakes may need to be cleaned for $125 for the front and $125 for the back had told the technician of that plan when I dropped my car off. He said he could and verified my phone number. I did not receive a call about if the brakes needed to be cleaned, wasn’t told anything about the condition of the brakes or the tires since I did not stay on the premises nor did I receive a call when the car was finished and ready for pick up. When I asked about not receiving a call that the oil change was finished, he said I called out into the waiting room and shrugged his shoulders. More
