This is for Hyundai Service: Took 3 calls and text messages to get an oil change appointment. Drop off Friday morning at 9am as scheduled. Received call late afternoon with estimate of $6000 for all w messages to get an oil change appointment. Drop off Friday morning at 9am as scheduled. Received call late afternoon with estimate of $6000 for all work needed. Approved $4000 of "necessary" work. Car was returned Monday at noon. No oil change sticker on windshield, no car wash. Driver side mirror fix was quoted at $1500. I bought a complete mirror, already painted for $230. It took me 1.0 hours to replace, and I am not a mechanic. I am buying a new car in the spring and was 85% to 90% sure I was buying a Genesis at Columbia Genesis. After my last two service experiences, there is less than 40% chance I would buy from Columbia. Asked for the rear wheel locks to be removed. They did not. Cost for work was extremely high. They input incorrect mileage so i a unsure if they had the info for my car.
