Tell service, refrigeration systems do not fill with air if there is a leak. If there is refrigeration in the system e.g. cooling is still occurring, the system pressure is positive. As a result, air at atmospheric pressure cannot enter the refrigerant system. I was incorrectly told that if there is a refrigerant leak that air gets into the refrigerant system. That would be true if the system was flat, no pressure but not the case if there is still a cooling effect. Not a big deal to me, but the service people should understand and have the correct answers. This is a flawed survey because I have not working with John in sales but the survey will not submit if I don't check a star rating--I will choose 5 stars although I don't know who John McFarland is.
