Knowledge of an aging model I have an 05 Focus, manual transmission and this center advised me when the clutch was showing wear but did not pressure me to repair it right away as I have an 05 Focus, manual transmission and this center advised me when the clutch was showing wear but did not pressure me to repair it right away as it was not at a critical state. I was able to get an additional 7 months on the original clutch before making the decision to replace it last week when another part (not from this service center) failed. I always feel respected and taken care of by the folks at Columbia Ford Service Dept. Specific to this visit: Joe stayed in touch with updates on the repairs. Thank you! More

Service without a hassle I called on Monday morning to see about getting an oil change on my F350 prior to going out of town on Tuesday. Bobby asked me if I could be there at I called on Monday morning to see about getting an oil change on my F350 prior to going out of town on Tuesday. Bobby asked me if I could be there at 3:00 pm that day. I arrived early and was checked in immediately. I also asked about a "low tire pressure sensor fault" that kept appearing and then disappeared. They changed my oil and then recommended that I change my fuel filter. Since I was already there, it made sense to replace it then instead of coming back for a separate appointment. They checked for the fault code, but informed me that without it registering, they couldn't tell which sensor was bad, and the battery in one of them was probably going bad. They did check on the tire stems though to see if any of them were bad, check the tire pressure in all my tires, all my fluid levels, and provided me with complimentary water and a cookie. Not bad for not having an appointment 5 hours earlier. More

However, I am very disappointed with the number of issues I have had with my vehicle since I purchased it. I have had problems with the window motors on both the front driver and passenger doors. The problem was originally fixed but now problem is back again. at 62,000 miles i had a bad front axle boot and now at 65,000 I have a problem with the shift controls that require a complete replacement. The care has all highway miles on it and has to many problems for the age of the vehicle. More

Best Service On my ride to CT from Maine , a warning light came on in my Ford Escape . I called Columbia Ford later in the day and spoke with Bobby , in the Servic On my ride to CT from Maine , a warning light came on in my Ford Escape . I called Columbia Ford later in the day and spoke with Bobby , in the Service Dept . and after explaining my situation , he told me to come in early the next day ( even though it was Friday and they were booked solid ) because he didn't think it would be a good idea to drive back to ME until it was looked it . They checked out my car shortly after I arrived, diagnosed the problem and told me I was safe to drive back to ME since they wouldn't be able to get the part for several days . What a relief ! I cannot tell you how pleased I was with the excellent customer service I was given by Bobby in Service. He is truly an asset to your company ! Kudos also to the service staff who made me breakfast in the cafe at Columbia Ford . Between the service I received for my car and the breakfast and coffee I received from the cafe staff , I may just drive the 3 hr. ride from Maine the next time I need maintenance work done . 😁 More
