Having bought many cars over the years this was a first for me of buying online and the experience was actually quite enjoyable. We arrived at a final configuration/price via email, the car was located and delivered to the dealership within days. The day of the purchase was quick and painless as it involved the vehicle inspection, test drive, an intro to the dealership/service etc. and then out we went. In and out in about 90 minutes. Great car - Good buying experience - Below average delivery I often hear the Genesis/Equus compared to Lexus, Audi, BMW, etc. If you want to truly compete with them, prep the car accordingly. Film covering internal plastic. Plastic/rubber bands covering 3 seatbelt inserts. Water marks on the door-interiors. A scratch on the leather steering wheel. Head-rests were set at different heights. Does it make the car less valuable? No. But $40k+ for a car being compared to a Lexus GS needs to be presented much differently than an Accent or Elantra. Also, I found out *after* I signed the paperwork that there's a promotion for Uber drivers to get $1000 rebate for buying a Hyundai. I told my salesman afterwards I'm an Uber driver, and he said there's nothing they can do now. I believe him; but why have a promotion if you're not going to promote it? I was very disappointed I wasn't at least told about that - I basically lost out on another $1000. In all honesty, had I known that I probably would have taken a car with more features for more overall money - so we *both* lost out on that one. The salesguy was very nice, though - I did like him a lot. Very thorough and professional. No pressure at all. I do wish I had the opportunity to "opt out" of being read a 60-page "quick-start" manual. I'm 35 years old and if I can't figure out on my own how to adjust seats or change the AC settings, I don't deserve to own a car. Not his fault, but man - I would've liked to avoid that. Overall, it was a decent experience and I do absolutely love my 2015 Genesis Sedan (3.8, RWD, Sig package)!!! More
