Leased my first BMW via Competition BMW. I was treated as if I was a VIP which I am not. Most importantly I was fortunate to (by chance) have Maffie Trofa as my salesperson. It quickly became clear that she if I was a VIP which I am not. Most importantly I was fortunate to (by chance) have Maffie Trofa as my salesperson. It quickly became clear that she was thoroughly knowledgeable about the X4 SUV. After a brief discussion she went and brought an X4 for my wife & I to sit in while she showed us the significant features. When we returned to her desk she had two computers, one for her to control and one for us to view. She went thru the entire menu of options for us to decide what we wanted. We had total confidence that she was not trying to have us select certain options but showing us the options with the price so that we could decide. After our selections she then showed us all of the discounts that we qualified for. With a little more negotiations- we signed the lease papers to order the car and as promised, received our vehicle within the time stated. We give the dealership and Maggie 5 Stars. More

I have been speak to Danny Gomez for about 6 months on leasing another X3 when my lease runs out on my present X3. I leased my first X3 from Smithtown BMW three years ago. I was 95% happy with it for the leasing another X3 when my lease runs out on my present X3. I leased my first X3 from Smithtown BMW three years ago. I was 95% happy with it for the approximate three years I had it. I leased it not knowing that the safety feature called accident prevention was not built into the car. That was no one’s but my own since I did not ask for it. I started to talk to Danny about getting out of the lease for a new one in Oct. 2020 since I wanted to build my own and have them order it from the factory. He advised me to wait since the lease would reflect the amount of money left to pay the leasing company. We went back and forth for about three months and finally we sat down and talked about leasing a new X3 now since there was only one month left on my lease. After all said and done there was an X3 in stock that had everything I could order and met almost all my needs. Danny and I sat down and reach a monthly lease price and it was done. Both Danny and I were satisfied a fair lease agreement was made. He is the type of salesman I would hire to work for me if I was not retired. His work ethic is great along with his personality. This new X3 I am 99% satisfied. The reason I did not say 100% is that BMW did not make available a wireless automatic start so you could warm the vehicle up in the winter time for the 2021 X3 and they change there radio without the ability to use your CDs and load them in your vehicles computer. I would highly recommend if any one is looking to buy or lease BMW go to Competition BMW in Smithtown and ask for Danny Gomez, he will do his best for you to get the vehicle you want and at the price that is fair for both of you.
