Service Department that Care I purchased a CPO from a different dealer since Competition BMW didn't have the model with the color and options that I wanted?Unfortunately that deal I purchased a CPO from a different dealer since Competition BMW didn't have the model with the color and options that I wanted?Unfortunately that dealer was in a state that didn't required an emission test until the car was older? When I took it to a local gas station to get my NYS inspection,I was told the car was not “ready”? I purchased ab OBD II scanner to make sure my car was ready for the emission test? 200 miles later and numerous drive cycles, my car was ready. But now the scanner showed a caution sign. Rather than mess around. I made an appointment with Competition BMW. I was really concern if the service department would show me the same courtesy as when I made an appointment for my other BMW that I bought from Competition. I didn't purchase this vehicle from this dealer, I thought they would not offer a loaner or be too kind. To my surprise, the receptionist was really pleasant and understanding. When she offered a loaner I was shocked. When the Jackie called about my car, she was upfront with the expectation. When they actually took my car in, it passed the emission test without a problem. She didn't try to sell me any additional unnecessary services or repairs. Overall it was an excellent experience. More
