Jamie was nice to work with. She was diligent in her efforts to find the answers to my questions. All the people involved with this sale were very attentive and willing to answer any of my questions. After the deal was finally agreed on, Owen went over all the details of the paper work and stayed positive even after the ice storm knocked out the power and we lost the use of the computer. Thankfully, we had most of the paper work completed and signed the last of them in the dim lighting. Owen said we could finish up the next day when I brought the title of my trade-in to them. After everything was completed, Eric went over everything and explained all of the features of the new vehicle and then took me over to the Service department where Doug went over what I could expect from his department when I brought my new car in for service. We were there twice and both visits we were very impressed with the the sales staff and the overall appearance of the dealership. Justin Giles was our "actual" sales person, but we also visited with and discussed the vehicle with many others. Justin is a very good salesperson, he acts with true compassion in helping you find the vehicle that is just right for you. As does Randy White - he and Justin worked hard to find us a vehicle that we were interested in. I had been looking on the Internet for a few weeks for a used truck. Conklin Cars of Newton prices were very competitive. I would in my search compare trucks from different dealerships. I spoke to my wife about the truck and said what I thought the trade difference would by on my trade in. I said if they offered close to that I would buy the truck. They offered the exact dollar amount I had told the wife. Marshall Kindrick was very professional and a very likable person. Marshall was friendly without being overly friendly. Marshall came across to me as a person I would like and call a friend. My wife and I were looking for a new jeep or truck and shopped at a Wichita dealer. We did find a jeep we liked and was at the financing step. That is where everything fell apart. Actually stopped at the local Jeep dealer and talked to a salesperson about the situation we just went through. Verbally he prmised to treat us better but than wanted to meet another day (My wife had to run home real quick for 30 minutes) and proceeded to tell me he was on the way to a meeting. I left and went to Conklin Cars and started looking around the lot. The selection was a little light at the moment but I wanted to see if something else would work (my wife wanted 4 wheel drive and space for seating and to put some photo gear. That was her main requirements. In the most pleasant manner came Josh. I explained my issue and what we were looking for and he showed me a possibility and proceeded to also show his product knowledge, which was great. If theer was a question he could not answer on the spot and left and returned with the correct answer. We found him to be a great person who listened well and was attentive to our needs. His recommendations were great and he was not out to push for the sale. WE purchased the following day (It was very late). We were already familiar with this dealership for service on our other cars and found that department to be great. If it were not for the search for the new jeep, we would have came here first. The end result is we made the right decision with the right salesperson. He is an asset to that organization. I would recommend him and the dealership as a whole to anyone looking to purchase new or used. More
