My ford dealership in West Union, SC would charge 145,00--labor & parts for a cycle coil pack--the part 104.00 & labor 40,00 for 30 minutes. Conway Ford charged 135.18 for part, 130.00 admission diagnostic, labor 65.00, tax & shop supplies 35.82--total of 362.00. I understand that dealerships charge differently for labor--my ford dealership charges 80,00 an hour, Conway charges 130,00 an hour-a big difference, but I don't understand why the part would be a different price, the charge for diagnostic test 130,00--when they are doing the work--my dealership does not charge for this and my dealership does not charge for shop supplies. My son will be in college at CCU for the next 2 years--I guess we will have to find someone else to service our car!!
