Went in for routine maintenance. Took 30 minutes to be seen (even with an appointment booked 2 weeks out). Service was quicker than expected once they actually took my car to the bac Took 30 minutes to be seen (even with an appointment booked 2 weeks out). Service was quicker than expected once they actually took my car to the back. Everything went great. But at the end, the service rep denied my dealership coupon because they allege I gave them a poor survey review in the past. First off, I don't recall ever taking a survey. I've always had a good experience working with John B in the past, so I wouldn't have any reason to give a poor review. But secondly, even if I did submit a harsh review, why would you punish the customer for providing honest feedback? That's the whole point of the survey. If you don't want to hear how your reps are actually treating customers, then why even send out surveys? You don't learn anything by only looking at the good reviews. That interaction soured my whole experience. For one, the note in their system accused me of something I didn't do. And beyond that, it's wild that they have a policy of denying paying customers based on optional survey results. Again, the service was great, but I've never worked with a business before that punished you for being truthful. That's insane. More
