Decent deal but deceptive dealership I had a deal well defined over email and texting: interest rate and months, selling price of the car, trade value offer and total amount financed. I w I had a deal well defined over email and texting: interest rate and months, selling price of the car, trade value offer and total amount financed. I wanted a little less total financed so had not agreed to come to the dealership. The dealership called me a 7pm saying they have "dealer cash" that can help get the numbers more favorable but I needed to be physically at the dealership to participate. I immediately left home and arrive at 8pm. They acted like i was there to buy the car, asking for my trade registration, insurance and wanted to appraise my trade. I said the trade value was already set though. No one talked about dealer cash and no one even knew anything about dealer cash. I finally saw the finance guy and he was under the impression I was signing everything now. His numbers were not the previously agreed terms and they were giving me a lot less for the trade. I think this was very deceptive and deceitful to lure me there with this dealer cash fantasy. I was there one hour past closing and left with no deal. The next day the dealership offered something close to the original numbers and I accepted. I had a decent deal on the car but no happy with the deceit. I will caution anyone I know about how this dealership operates. More
