I bought a truck from Cornerstone Chevrolet in Monticello, Mn back in December 2023. I had the worst experience with the sales staff along with the sales manager as the manager was very rude, didn Monticello, Mn back in December 2023. I had the worst experience with the sales staff along with the sales manager as the manager was very rude, didn’t care about my business and then sold me a brand new truck with 8 miles on it that was broken. I drove off the lot and turned right around as the truck was having issues despite Cornerstone telling me it had gone through inspections and no issues with the truck. Fast forward to April 2026 as I sold that truck and bought a new GMC Sierra from another dealer. I have been trying to get in touch with the dealer to cancel my extended warranty that I bought with my 2023 Silverado. I am having a hard time getting in touch with any member of their team to assist me with canceling my warranty. I finally was able to receive an email to send to their finance team my cancellation documents but no response on if they received my paperwork. I would not recommend this dealer as their customer service is atrocious. I would spend more money on a truck elsewhere to never do business with this dealer again More

I recently moved to Elk River and tried to find a decent and trustful mechanic for serving my car. I knew from my previous experience that this is almost impossible task because people tend to add (most of and trustful mechanic for serving my car. Fortunately, I was lucky to meet Conor during my first visit to Monticello location. In spite of his young age, he is already very skilled. Conor has not only technical skills but also provides an excellent customer service. After my first visit, I had made the appointments only with Conor. I will never go back to this dealership and would not recommend this dealership to anyone. They removed front and rear recovery hooks from my truck between the test drive and purchasing the vehicle (whi recommend this dealership to anyone. I was also supposed to get a front license plate mount weeks ago since the truck came from Florida, but they never followed up with that either. We purchased a 2023 Cadillac XT5 in early August 2023. The entire "team" we worked with in purchasing our vehicle was quite simply outstanding! Our initial contact was with Sales Associate Chuck Heinen. The entire "team" we worked with in purchasing our vehicle was quite simply outstanding! Our initial contact was with Sales Associate Chuck Heinen... Chuck was the perfect fit for us as his demeanor and sales approach were what we were hoping for - he was not pushy or in a rush to sell us the car, he was patient and let the "car" sell itself but Chuck was there to answer every question we had about the vehicle. We also worked with Ben Holthaus the Sales Manager to complete the financials and payment for the vehicle - he was courtesy and respectful and made the process simple and easy. Finally we also worked with the Ted Walter the General Manager who took the time to meet with us and to make sure that we were not only happy with the purchase of our new vehicle but happy with the service we received. My service writer Chris was excellent. He was prepared for my appointment and called me by name when we walked in. Very friendly and efficient.
