I have never felt so misled and taken advantage of. This was the worst car buying experience I have ever had. My husband and I agreed to purchase a vehicle before it was put through the inspection for Toyo was the worst car buying experience I have ever had. My husband and I agreed to purchase a vehicle before it was put through the inspection for Toyota certification. We were assured it would be fully inspected and any issues would be fixed before it was handed over to us. When we came back a week later to pick up the truck and finish the paper work (a 2 hour trip from home for us) , they dropped the bomb on us that the vehicle could not be Toyota certified, but they assured us they did all the same inspections and fixes and gave us a discount. However, after driving the truck for a short time, the tonneau cover blew off on the freeway, taking parts from the truck bed with it! Apparently it was not secured correctly. In fact, the factory side rails it was supposed to be attached to were not even installed. How could they miss this in the inspection? And to fix it, we had to pay over $800 in parts and service, and this does not include replacing the cover since we ordered a topper instead. Our calls to the Sales Manager, Andrew, regarding this issue were never returned and when my husband talked to him in person, he said he had pictures of the cover installed correctly, which is impossible, and he never produced the pictures for us. And then we just took the truck in for winter tires and were told there was so much mud in the wheels that they were surprised the truck could drive straight. Once the mud was cleaned out, the shimmy in the steering wheel we were told by Boulder Toyota was normal, completely went away. We have never taken this truck in the mud. This was something else they did not address in their inspection of the vehicle before handing it over to us. Seems they really did the bare minimum because they already knew the truck was sold. And even though these are just 2 issues, they are not the only ones. The stress and frustration we have experienced because of their negligence has only been compounded by the lies and lack of accountability from the sales team. I will never do business with this location ever again and tell the same to all my friends and family. More
