Eric, We are sorry to hear this. At no time do we ask if anyone can afford a vehicle. We may ask questions on what budget/payment you are looking for, but we never ask if you can afford it. We have copies of all products that were offer, with signatures on ones you accepted. Customer transactions are complete on a first come basis. We do apologies about you wait, however there were customers who had arrived prior to your agreement.

The sales associate in fact did specifically ask “Before I go get this vehicle, are you sure you can afford it?” with my father sitting next to me. To this day my father asks me why I did not get up and walk out. And very importantly, I “scheduled” a time to come and look at that specific vehicle. I have the email verification of my scheduled time in my inbox. Yes, I signed documents that looked nothing like the iPad widget symbols for coverage options. I wrongfully assumed those options were pre-selected for me based on the conversation I had with the associate. After hours, I simply wanted to get out. It was my fault for not proofreading their work. This was a learned lesson that I will not soon forget. And while I’m willing to acknowledge my own shortcomings here, this dealership refuses to take an ounce of responsibility for treating their customers like numbers in the most unprofessional and unethical manner possible.
