Hello Kevin, I left a review regarding my purchase of a 2022 Ford Escape in November. My name is James Caleb Evans and I purchased the vehicle sometime near Thanksgiving. In February the battery died and I thought it was a fluke but it has already happened since and a recent battery test says it needs replaced. This is on top of the other issues I outlined that took place almost immediately after driving it off the lot. I am surprised a relatively new, low mileage vehicle that I bought directly from a dealership so recently. Any support would be greatly appreciated. Thank You, Caleb Evans

James, Thank you for sending me the VIN. I appreciate your help in clarifying the vehicle's details. I see now that the review was left under Marysville GM, but you actually purchased from Marysville Ford, which explains the difficulty in locating your information. It appears that you purchased the vehicle on November 21st, and it was inspected on September 19th, showing over 51% battery health at that time. I currently don't see any records of our service on the vehicle since your purchase. While I would assume your current issues may be linked to low voltage, it's reassuring to know that the battery was in good condition during the prior inspection. I want to assure you that we do not sell vehicles with "dead" batteries. To assist you, I would be happy to contribute towards the replacement cost of the battery as a gesture of goodwill. If you can provide me with the receipt, I will reimburse you for 50% of the battery replacement cost, which I believe is a fair solution. Sincerely,
