Aggressive and unfriendly Went to look for a new kia soul and to see if I qualified. The first thing they had me do was fill out a financing form before I could even decide if anything they had interested me. after test driving the car they started giving me the numbers, but they weren't able to get me into a comfortable range. Instead of accepting me coming back later with a better down payment they tried to force me into the car, even trying to make me change banks. When I reaffirmed that I wasn't comfortable with the payments they brought a manager over who began to harass me and nearly threaten me for not getting the car, asking me why I was wasting their time. When I got up to leave they nearly wouldn't give me my own car keys back and I nearly felt the need to call the police. Stay away from this awful place unless you want to get cheated and abused. More

Full of promises never delivered. I purchased a used 2014 Kia Rio from Kia of Gastonia. I was promised new tires front entrance alignment, and fix road noise on passenger side, didn't I purchased a used 2014 Kia Rio from Kia of Gastonia. I was promised new tires front entrance alignment, and fix road noise on passenger side, didn't get them. Terry said that the tires were new. They were just the same worn tires polished.Terry said that he didn't know tires and he wasn't the boss. Finally after much discussion, the sales manager got me tires. After two months two service managers, and many phone calls, still waiting for the rest. I will never buy here again or recommend them to anyone. Very, very poor customer service. More

Uncomfortable Experience from the Hello Walked into Gastonia Kia and immediately felt uncomfortable. I asked for an experienced sales associate. Which I did not receive. However from the Walked into Gastonia Kia and immediately felt uncomfortable. I asked for an experienced sales associate. Which I did not receive. However from the get go I was asked a bunch of personal questions in a room full of tables where other customers were, no privacy...no dignity. They didn't even want to discuss why I was there or my needs for car buying. I'm sorry but I'm not going to give you a bunch of personal information if you do not have the vehicle I am looking for. The salesman was not genuine and I felt as if Kia of Gastonia just wanted all my information. I asked the salesman why they didn't ask about my needs and he just said, "Well this is just our process." How rude. Customer service & friendliness first. Needless to say I let him know I was uncomfortable with the process and I left. I was not impressed and I felt as if they did not take me seriously as a customer. Pass on this one folks. If you like Kia's, buy a used one from Carmax. Much friendlier and the 'process" was not in play when I was met at the door. More
