I was at the dealership to have my 2009 1500 Silverado Crew Cab LT-1 serviced (which Larry Cook has been servicing for the past 9 years, since I bough I was at the dealership to have my 2009 1500 Silverado Crew Cab LT-1 serviced (which Larry Cook has been servicing for the past 9 years, since I bought it new from Courtesy!) My old truck had 262,000 miles, and the repairs that it needed were going to cost too much vs. the value of the truck. Larry connected me with Solon Woodard, and the rest is history. I was on a time crunch and a budget, Solon was able to make a deal that worked with my budget and get me in and out of the dealership in less than 2 hours!!! Unbelievable service and follow up! Best vehicle purchase ever! I was only considering a purchase and fiddled around with TrueCar one night and next thing I knew, every car dealer in Southern California was contact I was only considering a purchase and fiddled around with TrueCar one night and next thing I knew, every car dealer in Southern California was contacting me ! I live within a mile of one of the Chevrolet dealers in San Diego county but ended up at Courtesy strictly because of the contact procedure utilized by salesperson, Carlos who turned out to be a truck specialist and knew the product I was interested better than anyone I've dealt with in the past. Carlos was courteous, helpful and most of all.......Honest! Yes, Honest. I happened to own the same model I was looking to purchase, a Silverado 2500HD Duramax Diesel, that I owned for 10 years, and owned a 2004 before that, so it was pretty hard to trick me with a faulty answer. Because of his follow up, including the sales managers, I paid a visit to Courtesy. Carlos knew I was coming and without telling me till later, he came in on his day off to assist me. We set up a time and he had a vehicle all ready for me to test drive. Wisely, for the dealership and himself, he had the vehicle I mentioned but it was upgraded to a 4 x 4 and the top of the line High Country version, a strikingly nice blue exterior and very sharp black interior (I've pretty much always purchased black) Chevrolet has installed an air ram which punches the horse power up to 400 HP and an additional 200 lbs. of torque. I believe I could pull my house off its foundation ! The diesel truck was about 40-50% quieter than my 2008 and the driving experience was a pleasant surprise. A side benefit is that the vehicle has just about every "toy" known to man. I'm pretty sure this will be the last truck I purchase in my life and to have it be such a great buying experience makes me like the truck even more! Ken in finance (one of the processes we buyers dread) was efficient, friendly and very low pressure. All in all, everyone I dealt with did everything they said they would which has not always been my experience at a car dealer. John More
