In all honesty, my car buying experience was a little hectic to say the least. As the ol' saying goes, it's not about the fumble but about how you recover that matters. Anyone could have an almost perfect experience and write a positive review but not everyone goes above and beyond to make things right when things dont run smoothly. During my car buying experience Eric Steffes made sure that I was taken care of throughout the whole process regardless of the hiccups. He was attentive, thoughtful and fought for my rights as a customer, making sure that I was taken care of from the minute I walked onto the lot, to the day I walked out the door with my brand new Chevy Sonic RS. No matter what Eric found a way to make it right. Based on my experience and how Courtesy responded when things didn't always go as planned, I now keep Eric's business cards in my car so when people ask me where I bought my car, I can refer them directly to Eric. It's even more of a testament to the team as a whole. I know that my experience was atypical since my parents have bought 3 cars from Courtesy (Eric) and each time was flawless leaving them driving away happy customers. From the General Manager down to the receptionist, Courtesy is top notch when it comes to providing a positive customer experience and I guarantee that no matter what happens during your car buying experience you will leave a happy customer. I have since referred 4 perfect strangers and 1 family member to Courtesy resulting in yet another sale for the team. More
Brandon Bender was a pleasure to work with. Brandon stuck with us, looking at several vehicles in the heat of the day on July 4th. By the end of the day (5 hours later) we reached a deal with Courtesy Chevrolet that we could not pass up. Needless to say, our intentions when out the window, and all without being heavily pressured. Brandon made sure we got what we wanted, not what he thought we should buy. Lamar did a fantastic job of giving a sales pitch, showing me the selection, and walking me through the process with as little pain as could be expected. Glen was humorous, yet knowledgeable with the financing, and he did a great job of explaining, yet being aware of the fact that I was ready to get out of there with my new car. I received many calls from Courtesy Chevrolet over the last three months. I purchased a Camaro from them in 2010 and they wanted to buy it back. I finally relented and agreed to take a look at what they had to offer me for an upgrade. I had a V6 and was thinking about a V8 SS Camaro. I met with a salesman and drove a couple of models. I drove an automatic and a standard. I really liked the standard. Oh what power that car has! It would have been a great first day experience had it not been for a minor oversight on the sales persons part. GAS! The test drive is where it ran out of gas. OOPS! All was fine after gas was put in and I returned to the dealer. Next was some number crunching. That was sort of OK. Not what I really wanted, and the waiting time for the semi OK deal, was UNBEARABLE. I finally left after being swarmed by salesman and begged to wait "Just five more minutes." I then decided to just probably let it all go and keep what I had. However, the next few days and SEVERAL phone calls later from the dealer, I went back with the terms I wanted to make a deal written down on paper and was just not willing to settle for anything else. Mr. Scott Gruwell, the owner of the dealer had heard all about my experience and wanted to make it right. Mr. Larry Banks, the new care sales manager was also involved in helping to close my deal on my terms. I almost settled for an automatic even though I wanted the standard and was actually ready to finalize it. Mr. Gruwell came through and made some calls and had a standard V8 brought over from another dealer. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY I was to hear this. Mr Allen Parker was the man on a mission! He went over to the other dealer and personally drove MY car back to Courtesy Chevrolet, had it fully detailed and everything. I was like a kid at Christmas!!! I never saw this particular car either, and I was BLOWN AWAY! It had everything I wanted and I got the sweetest deal I could possibly ever get. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH, Scott, Larry, Allen, Russell in finance, and the guest service manager, Lauren. My experience started out a bit rocky, but ended up smooth as silk!!! More
