Horrible Sales Experience I moved to Tampa Bay last May and as a Kia owner needed somewhere to service my car that I could trust. After reading some reviews I decided on this d I moved to Tampa Bay last May and as a Kia owner needed somewhere to service my car that I could trust. After reading some reviews I decided on this dealership. I went in a few weeks ago to get my Optima serviced and was approached my Rosa in the Vehicle Exchange program they have. From the very beginning I told her that I am only interested if my payments are about the same and they paid my current car off so I do not owe anything more on it. I test drove the 2016 model of what I have an honestly loved the car. In every measurable way it is a significant upgrade from the 2013 Optima SXL that I have now. I was assured that we could work something out that would work for me. I ended up leaving the dealership and took a couple of weeks to think about it. I ended up sending her an email with the deal that I was comfortable with and told her to call me if we could get close and work something out. I sent 2 emails within 2 minutes of one another, one had the monthly payment i was looking for and money down and the 2nd had the financing terms (60 months). Rosa called me the next day and said they had accepted my terms. I was excited since I was expecting some kind of negotiation and went in the following morning expecting to sign on the dotted line and leave in my new car. Upon arriving I test drove a sportage as well and then decided to stay with the optima. The "deal" that was placed in front of me was NOTHING like what they had supposedly "accepted" the day before. I went back and forth with them for more than an hour and finally decided my time had been wasted, got up and walked out. The entire time Rosa kept saying that i was "young and have good credit" and I should take this "great deal" I was getting. I am young and have good credit, this is true. But it is because I do not make deals like this one!!! Both of the sales people kept talking over me, were fairly insulting and very pushy. I have bought and sold over 10 cars from many dealers and have NEVER been treated this poorly. I find it ironic that their name is Courtesy Kia after the experience that I had. I am so upset about this that I am looking at other dealerships in the Tampa Bay area for when it is time to service my Optima again. My experience with this sales team is a horrible representation of the Kia brand. More
Great Experience!!! No Games!!! I was looking for a vehicle to replace my Honda Pilot, My wife and I had previously leased a couple cars from Brandon Kia. We shopped around and looked at many makes, but made Brandon Kia our last stop. After having to endure playing games with all the other dealers, we came in and met with Rafael our salesman. I explained what I wanted and how I wanted the deal to go, he said no problem and brought the deal to Brett the sales manager and a little while later, I was the proud owner of a 2017 Kia Sorento. I really appreciate the ease at which they accommodated my style of buying a car and was impressed with deal that I got, I would highly recommend them as a dealer and all the employees there really want the customer to be satisfied with their purchase, financing and service after the sale. If you want "NO GAMES" and a great car deal, this is the place to go. More

The following is based on my experience in trying to purchase a 2017 Sportage EX for my wife. Worse dealership I have ever stepped foot in! The sales department is inept as they did not honor the deal we had agreed upon the day before driving up. The sales department and finance department are at a complete disconnect. In my honest opinion, I would not recommend working with this Kia dealership and would encourage you to shop elsewhere. We worked with Brett Stanley for a couple of months as we went from thinking of buying a car to actually buying on one…a 2017 Sportage EX. My wife completed an online credit application as requested. After much going back and forth on Saturday, November 12th we settled on an out the door price of $25,526.52 which resulted in monthly payment of $350 for 75 months with $3k down. I was very clear since my very first communications with Brett that I would not be making the 230 mile/ 4 hour drive up to the dealership until everything was settled upon. He understood my request and asked me to drive up, WE HAD A DEAL. When we arrived at the dealer we test drove the car we had been negotiating on, and proceeded with the paperwork. Sadly, we did not take delivery of the car. After receiving confirmation from Brett that all was okay to proceed the deal fell through for their lack of delivering of what they stated, #1. Brett did not honor the deal that was agreed upon due to his failure to review the paperwork before our drive up. Once we got over the first hurdle or problem we re-negotiated the deal, reluctantly as based on principle a deal is a deal. #2. The finance person we were working with said that no worries as “I will force them to accept the deal” “the system saids you’re okay so I just need to talk with the right person” “we place more than 30 deals a month with them, I don’t agree with this buyer” and then the finance director showed up and just pissed me off with his arrogance and dismissive demeanor as his dealership had messed up. More

A Difficult Experience I've purchased many new cars elsewhere and this dealership has not been a pleasant experience for me. The internet prices are deceptive - add about $ I've purchased many new cars elsewhere and this dealership has not been a pleasant experience for me. The internet prices are deceptive - add about $3k to the online price and then add $1895 to every car for dealer installed options. I had difficulty getting after sale commitments resolved and unfortunately had to resort to negative social media to get the job done. Thank you Andrew and Brett for resolving the situation. More

Jason helped me understand the differences between the various models on the lot. He really knows his stuff! I decided on the 2014 Kia Soul as it gave me everything I wanted for a price that was much better on my wallet. Then they beat the financing package from my bank saving me even more money. This is my first Kia and my first time to a Courtesy dealership. Jason and the entire experience exemplified the name - I will be back! More
