So disappointed and left the dealership absolutely infuriated. I expect the little idiotic games that dealer play with pricing in the newspaper but when I'm exchanging emails with a salesperson and t infuriated. I expect the little idiotic games that dealer play with pricing in the newspaper but when I'm exchanging emails with a salesperson and they give me a specific price on a specific car (with Stock #) in their inventory, I expect that price when I get to the dealer. Finding that the price is $2,000 more than what was quoted me online was infuriating. There is no excuse for adding in the rebates for Veterans, College Grads, Loyalty etc when contacting the dealer directly. Leave that for the newspaper ads but at least in the newspaper, there are disclosures of all the rebates. We simply walked out. I have no patience for games. I had the bank financing letter and the Title of our trade-in in my hand so I just wasted 2 hours of my time at Courtesy Kia of Brandon with nothing to show for it. We drove over to another Kia dealer and bought the same car from them in 1 1/2 hours with a $2,500 saving over Courtesy Kia's price and trade-in valuation. More

My husband and I live in New York. We snowbird to Florida, and have been looking to purchase a new car. When we last were in Florida we went into Courtesy Kia of Brandon and met with Nathan Van Walke Florida, and have been looking to purchase a new car. When we last were in Florida we went into Courtesy Kia of Brandon and met with Nathan Van Walker. We discussed the car for which we were searching, options available and pricing. Even though we had just begun our search and were not yet ready to purchase, he never made us feel as if we were simply wasting his time. He was patient and courteous and we left with a the feeling we would be seeing him again. We returned to New York and over the next few months continued to shop for a Kia at various dealerships near where we reside. We called Nathan again, and went over pricing and options over the phone. It seemed so effortless dealing with him. We have now driven from New York, an otherwise unplanned return trip at this time, to purchase a new Kia from Nathan. He made it worth the trip. From start to finish, the buying process was easy and pleasant. Everyone we dealt with at Courtesy Kia was professional, easy to talk to, knowledgeable, and eager to help. Will be pursuing further actions related to the "yo-yo" finance scam that I was subjected to. Worst dealership I've ever dealt with . Was lied to about financing falling though , then changing the APR rates on 1 different contract after another . Courtesy group has one of the worst records with the better business bureau within the Tampa bay area . Buyer Beware ! More
Robert was quick to respond to my internet request for information on a KIA Optima. He promptly contacted me, and during our conversation I was impressed with the questions he asked, the fact that he did information on a KIA Optima. I scheduled an appointment for the following day, but called back later and asked if I could come in that afternoon. To make a long story short, I purchased a 2013 Optima SXL that day. Robert's knowledge of the vehicle and all the options was impressive. The test drive experience he provided was outstanding. The end-to-end experience (from test drive to loan paper signing) was smooth and stress free. His patients and understanding with my 14 year old autistic son was most appreciated - it absolutely was a contributor to the stress free car purchase experience. I will recommend Robert and the Courtesy KIA of Brandon to anyone who I hear talking about looking into a KIA purchase. We showed up this past Saturday 07/13/13 to purchase a new Kia SXL. Marcel the salesman came out and introduced himself. I told him I've seen the online ad showing the car priced at $30,800. He instantly new Kia SXL. Marcel the salesman came out and introduced himself. I told him I've seen the online ad showing the car priced at $30,800. He instantly tells me thats only if I qualify for all the rebates. I said ok can we see if we qualify and basically had to push myself in the door because the salesman didn't want to do anything and seemed like a zombie. He kept telling Nathan that this is his deparment because we saw prices online. Nathan instructs him to go in the office and take our info. Nathan then comes back and says since im not military we have to add $500 to online price. I begin to negotiate telling them im not here to waste time just give me the bottom line. Nathan comes back and says that is the bottom line. We got up and drove to Brandon Ford where you can verify we purchased a 2013 Kia Optima EX from salesman Otis with all the upgrades like double panoramic sunroof, cooled/ heated seats, backup cam etc. We are so happy we didn't buy from that dealership. I have owned atleast 15 vehicles in my 28 years of life and never had a bad experience as I did with Nathan and Marcel. I felt unwanted and disrespected.
