The Courtesy automotive brand has been serving Phoenix customers since 1955. Courtesy Automotive in addition has a Chevrolet store in San Diego and a Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram store in San Juan Capistrano in CA. This will be the first new store in Phoenix since 1955. Courtesy Automotive started in 1955 with the family member Ed Fitzgerald. Not long after that, William Gruwell joined the family and the business, and today leads the organization as President of Courtesy Automotive. He is joined by his two sons, Mark Gruwell, General Manager of Courtesy San Diego, Scott Gruwell General Manager of Courtesy Chevrolet in Phoenix and his son in law, Jason Church, who is the General Manager of the new Courtesy VOLVO of Scottsdale.
The Courtesy family has three generations of ownership and is excited to add the VOLVO brand to the Courtesy Group. With the amazing line up of new VOLVO products, and the Courtesy reputation of looking after our customers, we look forward to serving the Valley's VOLVO customers.
Construction started in January, 2017 and with a completed store ready to open in August 2017. The family is excited to offer a full line up of new VOLVO cars and SUVs serving the Scottsdale, Phoenix and Paradise Valley areas at first. Courtesy VOLVO of Scottsdale will offer a complete line up of Certified Used VOLVOs, as we have a heritage of supporting and promoting the benefits of a strong Certified program to our customers.

Disappointed We bought a 2019 XC90, we were sold on the fact that if we downloaded the Volvo app the GPS would operate the same way as the Volvo gps download in o We bought a 2019 XC90, we were sold on the fact that if we downloaded the Volvo app the GPS would operate the same way as the Volvo gps download in other models. That was completely not true, the GPS that comes with the app is garbage, you can’t save addresses you can’t change the true direction, we have owned the vehicle for a week now and I’ve had to download the Maps app three times because something keeps happening. Our sales person Jacob gave me the phone number of someone to call when we bought the car to have updates done to the software, i’ve called and left a message with that person three times and no response back. More

Used purchase I saw the car and price I wanted on line via a used car search on Carfax. I was not told about these fees and I didn’t review the contract close enough so I didn’t see them until I got home. More

I got a call saying the parts were in and I made an appointment to have them installed. When I got there one of the parts I was told was in inventory was not there. Didn't start off well, but very satisfied in the end I had the pleasure of working with Percy and Tim in the sales department with regards to a car purchase. While there was a bit of communication lapse I had the pleasure of working with Percy and Tim in the sales department with regards to a car purchase. While there was a bit of communication lapse due to some overall confusion between all parties, I was quite happy in the end. Both Percy and Tim were very accommodating, as well as Mike in the finance department. At no time did I feel the typical car salesman and/or finance tactics. All were very knowledgeable and quite easy going to work with. I would certainly go back to Courtesy Volvo of Scottsdale for future vehicle purchases. More
