The Courtesy automotive brand has been serving Phoenix customers since 1955. Courtesy Automotive in addition has a Chevrolet store in San Diego and a Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram store in San Juan Capistrano in CA. This will be the first new store in Phoenix since 1955. Courtesy Automotive started in 1955 with the family member Ed Fitzgerald. Not long after that, William Gruwell joined the family and the business, and today leads the organization as President of Courtesy Automotive. He is joined by his two sons, Mark Gruwell, General Manager of Courtesy San Diego, Scott Gruwell General Manager of Courtesy Chevrolet in Phoenix and his son in law, Jason Church, who is the General Manager of the new Courtesy VOLVO of Scottsdale.
The Courtesy family has three generations of ownership and is excited to add the VOLVO brand to the Courtesy Group. With the amazing line up of new VOLVO products, and the Courtesy reputation of looking after our customers, we look forward to serving the Valley's VOLVO customers.
Construction started in January, 2017 and with a completed store ready to open in August 2017. The family is excited to offer a full line up of new VOLVO cars and SUVs serving the Scottsdale, Phoenix and Paradise Valley areas at first. Courtesy VOLVO of Scottsdale will offer a complete line up of Certified Used VOLVOs, as we have a heritage of supporting and promoting the benefits of a strong Certified program to our customers.

There wasn’t unnecessary haggling and the going back and forth to the “office” scenario, that usually makes buying a car so annoying. I went in a day before purchasing the car to test drive two different models. We needed an additional car so no trade in situation which was nice. I felt zero pressure to buy and was impressed by the amount of knowledge Nate had about the vehicles. We feel we got a great price for our Volvo and will be back for another car in a few months when we’re ready to trade our other vehicle in. Thanks for a great experience! More

Best experience I wasn’t excited to deal with finding a new lease once my Honda’s was up. I had test drove multiple cars that day & my last stop was Volvo. Jacob made finding a car exciting & fun rather than pressuring me into something I wasn’t sure of. Cory worked up numbers that met my needs. I ended up leasing a Volvo XC60 & Im enjoying it.
