Walter was so professional and outstanding and had no issues helping me get my problem fixed and in such a timely manner! I will be taking my Jeep to get serviced here from now on instead of where we purchased it! Thank you Covert Chrysler Jeep Dodge for your outstanding service. More
Not only was our purchasing experience the WORST we have ever had but today I went back for my first oil change and they left the drain plug loose in the engine! Oil all over my driveway and if I had not fi ever had but today I went back for my first oil change and they left the drain plug loose in the engine! Oil all over my driveway and if I had not fixed it myself it would have trashed my engine! This is a 62k dollar truck! They almost trashed it! and the manager Loria Rios hid from me and would not talk to me. They also had the same lame technician #752 re-do the work. I think we may have a little trust issue! He should have been at most fired and at the least demoted. This place sucks so much! I have owned many, many new cars and to have an American based car company trashed by this lame dealership is just sending my family back into the arms of Honda and VW again. Stay away from Bernardo the sales guy, Loria Rios the Service manager and COVERT all all COST! or it will cost YOU! More
As with most things in 2022, buying a vehicle is a complicated process. My sales representative Bernardo Vasquez placed an order for a truck that had limited availability. Describing my experience as ‘unacceptable’ does not even do justice. I dropped my car off to fix my gears that were making noise. I was told that they wouldn’t get to my car for 5 days but I had to leave it do justice. I dropped my car off to fix my gears that were making noise. I was told that they wouldn’t get to my car for 5 days but I had to leave it with them regardless and that I couldn’t ‘get in line’ without leaving it there. After 8 days, I called for an update. After 3 calls, I get hold of someone and was informed that the person I dropped the car off with no longer worked there, so nobody had even look at my jeep yet. I was then assured I was in good hands. A week goes by, I call for an update. Left a voicemail. Didn’t hear back. The next day I call again, my advisor assured me someone is looking at it in the coming days. After WEEK 3, I call and ask to speak to a service manager (I was outside of the dealership when I called) and was told it was ‘meeting day’ and that I could leave a voicemail. Well, I walk in to the dealership and the service manager is sitting at his desk with his door open. Funny eh? I explain that my car had been there 3 weeks and I have 0 updates on the status of my car. He told me they did not have a rental and that they do not offer rental coverage thru third parties. I then informed him that my father is the GM at a different Jeep dealership and funny enough, later that evening they had a brand new Gladiator with 16 miles on it ready for me to take home while I wait. 3 ADDITIONAL weeks go by, my car has been there 6 weeks at this point. They call me and tell me it’s ready for pick up. I show up, hand over the rental, pay $3,800 for a gear job (more than twice the price of any Jeep shop in Austin including baldys and Just Jeeps, just to take my car and realize that nothing has changed. The gears were making the same noise as before. The advisor assured me that the foreman had driven it extensively and the problem was fixed. The advisor ALSO informed me that they had replaced my gears with Mopar gears. I took it on a ride with the foreman, and they then realize they did not fix the problem. I left the Jeep with them again and took the gladiator back. 4 days later, the advisor called me saying they NEVER REPLACED THE WORN GEARS, after initially telling me they were worn and were being replaced. So WTH did you charge me $3,800 for? She said she would call me the following day for an update. 5 more days go by, my jeep had been at Covert Jeep for 7 weeks at this point. The advisor calls me and says all parts are ordered and it should be ready within a week. I realize they never bothered to ask what my gear ratio was, so I call parts to find out which gears were ordered. Turns out they had ordered 3.23 gears. I brought my jeep in with 4.56 gears. I tell him to stop the install. Why would they install stock gears when they know xxxx well the only reason I’m in there was because I was hearing noises after upgrading to 4.56? My father (GM) gets hold of the GM at covert, Bart. Bart tells my father that they cannot install 4.56 gears since they are aftermarket. WHAT??? So you’ve had my car for over 7 weeks and are just now telling me that you can’t work on it??? Bart tells my father he has sent my jeep to Baldys to get it done there. He says it is in line and will be looked at in 12 days. Later that day, I decide to call baldys. Not to my surprise, they don’t have my jeep, nor have they heard a word from Covert. Covert said it was “their Jeep shop” but baldys said they rarely work with Covert, and that they primarily work with nyle maxwell. At this point I’m so done. I demand to pick my car up and take it elsewhere and handle it myself. So I just picked up my jeep yesterday, as dirty if not DIRTIER than when I dropped it off 8 weeks ago. They have a full service wash there and they couldn’t bother to run it through after the absolute misery they put me through? So now I am back to square 1. I have an appointment scheduled with Just Jeeps, where I should have taken it from the start. My quote from Just Jeeps is $1,400 less than Covert, including parts, labor, and a full regear on both axles. Miserable experience More

Service department is under staffed and has been for the last 5 years. Inexperienced technicians and it’s gonna take many trips to get your car repaired. Wow, what a fantastic experience! Called about a 2021 Pacifica Hybrid at 3:30p on a Wednesday and had it in my driveway at 1pm the next day in DFW. I was extremely impressed with Julian's help in sales. Pacifica Hybrid at 3:30p on a Wednesday and had it in my driveway at 1pm the next day in DFW. Our vehicle has been there for 2 weeks, blame keeps getting passed around with regards to a "Clerical Error" at the time of purchase TWO years ago! The only person who has even remotely tried to help us is Brittany in the service department and she can only do so much! My husband had to turn in the "loaner vehicle" she gave him and was given a "used vehicle" that was full of pet hair and only had a quarter of a tank of gas after he returned a freshly cleaned inside and out vehicle with a full gas tank. They are trying to Mickey Mouse scheme and not honor our signed documents from when we purchased the vehicle. This has to be illegal! I have contacted one of the multiple family member owners of this dealership via their linked In profile and made a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. Maybe NOW we will be taken seriously and our vehicle will be fixed under the Manufacturer or Extended Max Warranty (purchased for $2500) that is all signed and documented in our paperwork. Just for reference Dillon sold us the truck, Jason did our finance paperwork, Brittany in service has been helping to the best of her ability, and apparently Bart is the finance manager (whom hasn't once even reached out to my husband or myself regarding any of this). Oh an at one point it was mention that they were "changing the paperwork" to make it correct since it never should have been sold as a certified vehicle! good luck changing anything without our sigantures!
