OUTSTANDING!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Kudo's and a thank you to Cox Chevrolet in Bradenton, Florida. I cannot say enough to thank Mr. Joe MacDonald, Parts and Service Director, and Mr. Kudo's and a thank you to Cox Chevrolet in Bradenton, Florida. I cannot say enough to thank Mr. Joe MacDonald, Parts and Service Director, and Mr. Roberto Alonso, Service Manager. I went to Cox Chevrolet after having my transmission replaced at a Service Station. The Service Station where I had my transmission replaced was near-by to where the vehicle broke down and was certified and referred to me by AAA. Before beginning work to replace the transmission I inquired at this Service Station if this work and replacement transmission would still be under a warranty. The Service Station said "No" and thus with no other options, and in "Good Faith" that this was not covered under a warranty, I had them replace the transmission with a new transmission from the chevy dealership. After completing the work at the service station, I paid them and then drove to a chevy dealership to inquire about the warranty on the damaged transmission. The chevy dealership found that the damaged transmission was still under warranty. Extremely frustrated and angry, I returned to the service station and then to Cox Chevrolet. I spent time with Mr. Alonso discussing the details of what happened to my vehicle. I requested from Mr. Roberto Alonso and Cox Chevrolet a refund of what I just paid to replace my transmission - which was still under warranty. Mr. Alonso listened intently and assured me that he would make every effort to go through the proper channels to get a refund to me. Approximately 2 weeks after I submitted my requests I had received my refund. Once again, I want to thank Mr. MacDonald and Mr. Alonso. I personally want to thank Mr. Roberto Alonso for his time and effort in this very important matter for me. It is greatly appreciated and will not be forgotten. He was outstanding in representing General Motors and Cox Chevrolet. His professionalism and the integrity shown by General Motors and Mr. Joe MacDonald of Cox Chevrolet regarding the warranty and refund, as I said before, will not be forgotten. In the future I plan on purchasing another Chevrolet as a direct result of how this situation was handled by Cox Chevrolet and the outstanding service I received from Mr. Roberto Alonso. More

What CAN'T they do!! The service department has always gone above and beyond in not only the work that they do but also with their customer service and scheduling. If my repair looks like it will take longer than expected I am notified right away and they offer to take me home. I will never take any of my vehicles anywhere but this service center and I recommend them to anyone who will listen. I would give 10 stars if I could! More

mechanical repair work to my newly purchased 04 corvette I purchased with trade in of a 2004 Corvette from Cox Mazda on 8/16/16. Test drive, salesmen David stunners, who was very professional. Upon leaving for home with new car I noticed fuel gauge had stopped working. I was told to take it across street to Cox chevy and let service look at it. Was determined a fuel level sensor in tank was bad and would cost me $1700.00. I complained by saying I didn't even get off the lot and it was working fine on test drive. Cox Mazda said since I didn't purchase the extended warranty I had to pay for repairs or come back over and purchase warranty and then they would fix car. I said I was coming back over to get my trade in back. Per cooling off period the service writer Eric wiehl told me to wait he wanted to check up the ladder to see what could be done as he didn't want me leaving a dissatisfied customer. He came back to me giving me a rental car to get home had my car fixed with no out of pocket expense. Because of Erick wiehl at Cox chevy service dept. Did not honor warranty contract Until today, I have been happy with Cox Chevy's sales and service departments. I purchased a six-year extended warranty when I purchased a 2010 Camaro Until today, I have been happy with Cox Chevy's sales and service departments. I purchased a six-year extended warranty when I purchased a 2010 Camaro in November 2013. In the past six months, the check engine light and air bag warning sensor indicated malfunction. Today, I sent my seventy-year old mother in to authorize a radiator flush and fill. She authorized just that. Two hours later, I was told that the passenger seat air bag sensor and another valve needed replaced but the warranty was only valid for 2 years or 24 thousand miles, and that I needed to have $2,000 worth of work done. I told the service manager to just do the radiator flush and fill and I would look at the warranty paper work and get back to him. An hour later, my mother picked up the car and I was charged $182 for flush and fill and $258 for "diagnostic charges". I came home and looked at the warranty contact, which stated "N/A" for both years and mileage and it covered all diagnostic charges as well as all sensors. I'm very disappointed that the service manager did not return my call and that I paid $1,800 for a worthless warranty contact. More

Totally disappointed Cox Chevrolet TOTALED our vehicle during a service appointment. Their way of 'making it right' was negotiating a fair insurance settlement and expect Cox Chevrolet TOTALED our vehicle during a service appointment. Their reputation wasn't worth them not making money on a return customer, a loyal Chevy customer after they created a circumstance where we needed a "new"vehicle". More
