I called McDermott Lexus many weeks ago and spoke with Doreen Knight..........telling her I was interested in purchasing my 4th RX in 15 years from he I called McDermott Lexus many weeks ago and spoke with Doreen Knight..........telling her I was interested in purchasing my 4th RX in 15 years from her dealership. I told her I was looking for a particular color, and the year......and she put me on her list and started looking for the car. Seven weeks went by, and she finally called to say that my "dream-car " was being traded in. I put a deposit on it before even seeing it. But then decided to go a day ahead of it's arrival, to confirm I wanted the RX 350, 2010........as I looked at photos on line and wasn't sure I really liked the new dash. She met with me, and we went and looked at the new dash in other cars.......and I liked very much, so I planned to come back. Then she suggested I look at the only other 2010 they had, that was silver. It was an immaculate car.......and she offered to let me take it on the road, and take it to my son, who is a Master Tech and owns a car-repair shop in Madison, for him to look it over. By the time I got to Madison, I had really begun to think, if this looked as good on the exterior while on the lift at my son's shop, as it did inside........THIS may be the car. It passed inspection with flying colors and I drove it back. It was so well maintained.......I decided to also put a deposit on it........for 24 hours. I returned the next day to take the "dream car" back to Madison again, to my son for an inspection. Even though the silver car had more miles, the maintenance records were complete and impressive..........and I returned to tell Doreen, I wanted the silver car. She helped me put all the details together, and two days later, I arrived at the dealership to see my 2010 RX 350............sparkling on the showroom floor, with a congratulations card, a large floral box of a dozen white roses, and a huge red bow on top. Nothing quite like making a customer feel like they are the most important person in the dealership that day..........despite purchasing a vehicle.......that was six years old. Joe Serra, the business manager, made managing the financing, registration, warranty options and a lot of paperwork, go smoothly, carefully..........and with complete explanations and copies of everything that I was signing. The whole process was organized and as quick and painless as possible............all with a friendly smile on his face. The young "technology specialist ", Ryan Mariano.........took me to the car, to help coordinate seat settings, blue-tooth for my hands-free-phone, and demonstrated the key-less entry and the remote start. Everyone was patient, helpful.......and very attentive to all my questions and anxieties in purchasing a car. Doreen managed all the Insurance calls and I did not even have to call my insurance agent. I drove away with warm handshakes, complete information and a business card and number from each of those that helped me.......reassuring me......I could call them for more help or advice with more questions I may have about my new car. For a single, retired woman of 67 years of age...........I couldn't be more grateful to work with people I trusted , who made this large purchase.........one of the most pleasant experiences I could have had. I am thrilled with my new vehicle........and I feel very comfortable calling any of them in the future....and I am very happy to be able to refer my friends to this dealership for the best vehicle , value and customer service. Great service Walked into dealership with no appointment and John Pinto met us at the door and asked if we needed help. My wife is on crutches and he made sure that she was comfortable and had her sit at nearest chair. He was knowledgeable about the RX350 and we went for test drive. He was very proactive in making a sale and we agreed on a fair price. He walked us through the whole process making sure we we comfortable will the price and the vehicle. The business manager explained all the add on products, and we selected the ones that we were interested in. In all it was a very smooth process, and we feel confident that is we have any problems or issues that they will be there to help My wife greatly appreciated the flowers that John gave her, a sign of a classy dealership! Top Class Service You feel like a million dollars buying your car through McDermott. When I came in to pick up the car, there was a sign with my name on it and a dozen roses from a not-for-profit organization that supports autism. Recently and had the SUV towed to Mcdermitt Lexus for a diagnosis of the problem The service department including Greg Howell service manager and Aubry Zules service advisor handled my situation in a most professional and honest was . They correctly diagnosed the problem very quickly and gave me pricing that was very fair . They communicated with me very well ,even though I was back in New Jersey during the diagnosis. I can not say enough about how much they care to satisfy customers and the professional manner they operate in. More
