Susan, I am sorry that you are having issues with your vehicle but the recall on your 2015 Santa Fe had nothing to do with your engine. This was a recall on your ABS system and the recall consisted of replacing a fuse with a more safety complaint fuse. In short all we did was replace a fuse. I am not sure why your engine is making noise, sometimes bad gasoline will result in an engine rattle however I understand that you have made an appointment to have us diagnose the problem.
