2017 Mustang Convertible purchase... very good experiience! Went to Crescent Ford for the first time ever to examine a Mustang convertible I had seen online... thinking it could match well what I was seeking. Went to Crescent Ford for the first time ever to examine a Mustang convertible I had seen online... thinking it could match well what I was seeking. As I looked for it in the lot I was approached by. Robert Smithers. I informed him why I was there and he informed me that the vehicle I described was in the showroom. I looked it over quite throughly and during that process told Robert my thoughts on the possibility that I would purchase a new vehicle, as well as asking many questions about the Mustang. Long story short... Robert was a great listener to what I said, and had excellent responses to questions/.concerns I had about the vehicle. We also had a preliminary discussion of the financial part of the deal... Ford discount incentive, Crescent Ford's part of the deal, financing options, etc. Throughout the discussion Robert was attentive, understanding, knowledgeable, very respectful, etc. And - great for a "car salesman" - I felt no "pressure" from Robert. I left after telling Robert I needed and wanted to think through everything before I made my decision... and he very much respected my position. After a few days I spoke with Robert on the phone to arrange a test drive before we talked further, When I arrived at the agreed upon day/time Robert had the Mustang ready for me to drive. During and following the drive I had additional questions about the Mustang and what our "deal" could be. Robert again addressed all my questions... and we subsequently closed the deal. It was a very "smooth" and pleasant car purchasing experience. I highly recommend to anyone in the market for a new vehicle to include Crescent Ford in High Point NC - and salesman Robert Smithers - in their search! More
