Purchased this vehicle (XT6) from out-of-state (Virginia) but flew to Detroit to pick up the vehicle in person and drove it home to Virginia. Selected this vehicle based on included options and color combin but flew to Detroit to pick up the vehicle in person and drove it home to Virginia. Selected this vehicle based on included options and color combination that were unavailable locally. Did not buy based on low price. Sales experience (Evan Atkins) was very good. On the flip side, dealer prep was very poor, and, unfortunately, I assumed everything was right with this new vehicle and did not complete a thorough enough inspection prior to getting on the road back to Virginia. Crestview Service Department failed to verify that all systems were working properly - Super Cruise and TPMS were non-functional. Failed to inflate tires to proper pressure. Failed to provide or install optional black emblems that were part of purchase (after complaining, they mailed the emblems to me for my installation). Failed to fill the windshield washer fluid reservoir. All indications were that dealer prep consisted of washing the vehicle, nothing else. GM provides a detailed checklist for dealer prep - this dealership clearly did not follow it. After lodging my complaints, this dealership refused to accept any accountability. Buyers at this dealership should beware! Very happy, btw, with the vehicle. After investing several hours of time and energy, was able to correct all the dealer prep issues, but should not have had to do that. Cadillac makes a great product. Just wouldn't buy another one from Crestview. I have purchased GM vehicles exclusively for more than 50 years and have never had such a disappointing experience. More
