Insulted. Useless sales person, showed me a dirty $150k M8, without the keys available, then refused to allow a test drive. Since I drove to the dealership in Porsche 911 Turbo, clearly a qualified custome M8, without the keys available, then refused to allow a test drive. Since I drove to the dealership in Porsche 911 Turbo, clearly a qualified customer. As a owner of numerous luxury cars will continue to take my business to dealers who know how to look after me. More
We worked with Jerry Barnes at Crevier BMW, and he made the process easy and smooth. Jerry was able to get us exactly what we wanted when other folks could not even provide a car to test drive. Ask for Mason! I had offers from 3 other BMW dealers before I was emailed by Crevier. Showed up to the dealer, had a bigger inventory than the other 3 dealers, and was given a much better deal to walk a before I was emailed by Crevier. Showed up to the dealer, had a bigger inventory than the other 3 dealers, and was given a much better deal to walk away with a new BMW. Great job Mason, that’s how you steal customers. They say all good things come to an end. On 8/20/2021, I was heading to a event down in San Diego when my check engine light started blinking followed by my car shaking violently. I was able to pull it over was heading to a event down in San Diego when my check engine light started blinking followed by my car shaking violently. I was able to pull it over to the side of the freeway to assess what was going on. My hybrid battery was full, so I was able to drive in electric mode to the dealer. While I was being written up for service, I was told there was a recall that would be performed while the car was in for service. Fair enough. 8/31/2021, I had to swap loaners due to the one I was in needing to be sold along with an airbag light which illuminated and an oil service that was needed. 9/10/2021, I was notified my car was ready to be picked up. Once I picked my car up, the air conditioner blew hot. I pulled it back in the service bay and was told “4 out of 5 cars who had the recall performed experienced their air conditioners malfunctioning after the recall was performed.” If this is a known fact, why not test the air conditioner before releasing the car? So, I had to put my car back in the shop to reprogram the software and once again, cancel my San Diego event due to the time it took getting my car squared away again. Also during this visit, the technician cracked the trim on my driver’s door. 9/18/2021, I was told the car wouldn’t take the software because the navigation screen didn’t have the correct part number. I was told by the BMW center that the screen was compatible with the car before it was installed. None the less, I was asked to put the OEM screen back in the car so the programming would be complete. I came down to the dealer and had everything put back to normal. The following Monday, I received a call saying I needed to replace the instrument cluster because the continuous attempts to program the car caused the Instrument Cluster caused it to fail. On top of that, I was told the bill was on me. Knowing I wasn’t prepared for this, I applied for Sunbit. The dealer must have seen it on their end and decided I had the means to pay it and wasn’t willing to entertain any other options. Here is where my biggest issue is. I bought this car into the dealer four times since the car was new due to the cluster freezing, going completely black, shifting to the left, the heads up display freezing and me having to hard reset the system at minimum three times a week. None of my connected drive services worked when I purchased the car. I provided pictures (which I will post below), video of it failing along with numerous calls to corporate and BMW Connected. All that was done on the dealer level was replacing the iDrive controller, updating the software (after I filed a claim to corporate to goodwill it) and nothing fixed the issue with the cluster. Now that there’s an unrelated item installed which I corrected, Crevier wants to pin the replacement of the cluster on me which resulted in a $2,600 bill. I received a call once the Instrument Cluster came in about the battery being replaced without me approving it. Apparently, the technician left the hazards on which drained the battery. I feel there could have been a few options to rectify this without me having to replace the battery without my approval. I personally feel it’s incompetence on the technician’s part. I also have an issue trusting the technician’s word due to the fact I was lied to. I consistently had a MAF failure three times. The technician marked the MAF with an orange substance as if I was tampering with it. I reached out to Jackie Deemer with my concerns about the situation and once the investigation was complete, the tech said it was spilled and there was no notes or reasons to mark the MAF. However, you can see in the pictures below it was purposely placed there, not spilled. And what would neon orange wax be doing under my hood for a routine oil change? On top of that, it’s 10/6/2021 and I’m paying a $940 car note on a car that’s sitting around collecting dust. I feel Crevier took advantage of the situation and backed me into a corner with me having to replace the cluster. I bought the car in FOUR TIMES about the cluster intermittently failing and everything around it was addressed instead of just replacing it with all the proof I provided. Everyone I’ve been in contact with has become very dismissive with me and the only person that seems to be concerned is Jacky Deemer and the loaner desk. I appreciate them for being courteous through this process. This is the second time I’ve been taken advantage of by Crevier BMW, the first being back in October when I purchased a second 2020 530i and was lied to by the Sales department about my approval and contract. After this is rectified, Crevier will not have a third time to screw me over. This situation has taken a mental and physical toll on me, and I will not let them take advantage of me a third time. I drive 70 miles one way to get my vehicle serviced because I trusted Crevier. Now that trust is gone, I will be severing all ties with Crevier and questioning BMW as a brand. It seems customer service is out the window in place of the bottom dollar. More
