Crevier BMW went above and beyond. I took my 2011 BMW 335i in for warranty work, and they not only fixed the problem, but helped prevent future problems by finding and fixing problems I didn’t even know 335i in for warranty work, and they not only fixed the problem, but helped prevent future problems by finding and fixing problems I didn’t even know were wearing out. I was almost killed due to the negligence of Crevier BMW. At the end of June, I took my car into Crevier for a drive train malfunction, which caused the car to shut down and go into a limp mode. This was the second time having the same issue in 24 months since purchasing the car from Crevier. I was told the issue was the high-pressure fuel pump and was covered under warranty. A week later, when traveling out of state at 75mph, the car shut down again, and instead of going into limp mode it went into neutral, causing a tractor-trailer behind me to swerve last minute to avoid hitting me. I could have been seriously injured or killed along with other people on the road. The car proceeded the shutdown 4 more times within the next 2 days and each time, I was forced to quickly react and pull into the runoff area of the highway. BMW and Crevier were both unhelpful and even after escalating the issue to a case manager, BMW NA failed even reach out to me. I called BMW 15 times in a 2 week period and not once did the case manager pick up or call me back. Crevier advised me that they couldn't find a fault and BMW tech support was the one who advised them to change the high-pressure fuel pump at the end of June. They proceeded to change it then give the car a 5-mile test drive. I was told none of this when picking up my car from Crevier even though I asked them multiple times and advised that I was going on a road trip that next week. If they had made me aware of the lack of confidence regarding the root of the issue, I would have avoided going out of state and busy highways to ensure the car was actually fixed. Crevier then proceeded to push the issue onto the out of state dealer. After finally getting the car to a local dealership, I was advised that not only was the low-pressure fuel pump faulty but also the EKPS module. Thankfully, my local BMW was very helpful and though it wasn't any fault of theirs, rectified the situation for the most part with out of pocket expenses. To this day, I haven't had any sort of apology from Crevier or BMW Executive Customer. The case managers and BMW Executive Customer representative both fell unresponsive to multiple calls and emails, after initially ensuring the situation would be reviewed and taken care of based on the circumstances. In the 2 years since buying this car from Crevier, it has been with BMW service 3 times for the same issue totaling 4 weeks. I have broken down in Palm Springs and been stuck on the road for 4.5 hrs in 115-degree heat waiting for BMW roadside. This was only a few weeks after purchasing the car, so I only can assume it was a known issue at the time of sale. I have also almost been hit by a tractor-trailer and not once have a received a formal apology from anyone at BMW or Crevier. Although I love the look and the drive of my car, I will never buy another BMW. Between the maintenance issues and the service, I will never purchase another BMW. In the last 6 years, my wife and I have owned 3 Mercedes and this BMW and, other than basic maintenance, we have had zero issues with the other 3 vehicles. That being said, we will be looking to get rid of the car now due to our lack of confidence in its reliability and its overall safety. I would avoid dealing with Crevier if you are still interested in BMW, as there are plenty of other BMW dealers in SoCal, and, even more so, I hope that you never have to have any interaction with BMW North America. Best experience at a dealership ever. Peter Lam took care of me from A to almost Z (he couldn't do the financing part of it 😁). He took the time to answer my questions, he didn't balk when I asked for the m of me from A to almost Z (he couldn't do the financing part of it 😁). He took the time to answer my questions, he didn't balk when I asked for the money factor/residual value/sale price/etc, he applied as many incentives I was eligible for, and stayed after closing hours to help set up my Apple Carplay. Some sales reps make my skin crawl, but Peter was so nice and honest I felt like I was working with family. Icing on the cake was everyone in the office was super nice. And financing took less than 15 minutes. More
