I visited more than one dealership shopping for a Truck to check which truck was more comfortable and affordable. One of the dealerships I visited is Crews Coverlet North Charleston. In the beginning, the salesperson Wilson Page was trying to be nice. As expected, he kept calling me to sell me the truck (which was a higher price than other Chevrolet dealerships in the area; also, they provided me with the lowest offer for my trade vehicles). The moment I told Wilson that, I decided to postpone my decision for a few weeks. Hopefully, we will see more rebates from the manufacturers; he turned out to be a very rude, unprofessional, and asked not to contact him since I decided not to buy a truck from him. The Wilson’s reaction and behavior was shocking and unprofessional. We know how some dealerships do not have moral, but this situation with Crews Chevrolet is new and on a different level! I will contact Coverlet directly and show them their representative attitude! More

1) My Sales Rep Kaleb gets 5 STARS - professional, responsive, and courteous service that got me through the process with as much speed as possible; 2) Dealer promotional communication gets 1 STAR due responsive, and courteous service that got me through the process with as much speed as possible; 2) Dealer promotional communication gets 1 STAR due to "bait and switch" technique that showed 3 incentives clearly deducted from the actual VIN# I purchased on the Crews web site only to be told that one of them "didn't really exist" in reality - I didn't have time to fight so gave up the $500 error so went ahead with the deal; 3) Credit/Warranty hard-sell department gets 1 STAR due to a) the fact that this stressful up-sell technique still exists in this day and age; b) the way that my Credit Rep presented 9.5%+ rates as the best option and then magically came up with a 7.7% rate AND slipped in a $4000+ warranty once he discovered I was willing to go 84 mos and was focused on a payment of <$500 (this made the whole process feel disingenuous and is now giving me second thoughts on trusting the dealership with my credit deal - what else was being hidden from me to create the best kickbacks and/or high-margin deals for Crews?). I'm willing to let this go since I don't have time and likely won't keep the vehicle for more than 3 yrs OR will refi once interest rates cycle back down. Being generous with a 3-star summary given the transaction speed and simplicity. More
