my initial experience with this acura dealership was not that good. They were late in delivering the car, and the sales person did not know how to explain the technology. I just bought an Acura TSX 6 speed from this dealership. The sales person was Stefano Rinaldi. He was very knowledgeable, very proffessional, and very polite. Since this is a review for Criswell Honda, I give Stefano and the dealership a 5 out of 5. However, I do have to mention that I had a question about the financing, and the the Acura sales manager was not avaialbe at that time, so I ended up talking to the used cars financial manager (in the Audi section of the dealership). He was not very friendly, and even condescending at times. I wouldn't buy anything from him. But again, I want to make it clear that this had nothing to do with the Acura side and the professionalism of Stefano and his team. They are the simply the best; hence, I bought the car from him. I will be doing business with Stefano in the future. Thanks Stefano! More

We've done business with Criswell for nine years and throughout that period have purchased two cars, an RSX in 2002 that now has 177,000 miles and gets 28 mpg in town, and a TL in 2005 that is one of th throughout that period have purchased two cars, an RSX in 2002 that now has 177,000 miles and gets 28 mpg in town, and a TL in 2005 that is one of the finest and most reliable cars we've ever owned. We came to Criswell because of the cars and keep coming back because of the service. Christian Johnson has been our service manager for some time now and we can count on his thoroughness, friendliness, and professionalism; it's a pleasure to do business with him. Great job Christian, and hats off to Billy Bouchat for consistently fine work in the shop. By the way, we're not ready to replace either car right now but when we are, if Acura makes a two door like the RSX, and the new TL isn't such an ugly duckling, we'll be back in the show room as well as at the service department. Finally, on a different matter, it is annoying that in order to give you feedback on your service (which I believe you should want to accept unconditionally) I must register into your "dealerrater" list. When I initially went in last week, I was helped by Daryl who was WONDERFUL. This poor evaluation does NOT reflect his service. He was great. He was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job selling me on the quality and safety of the Acura MDX I returned later that evening so my husband could drive the car, and I was there for ~5 minutes before anyone approached me. Jennifer took us for a test drive and answered our questions. Another salesman was sitting right next to the door and did not acknowledge our existence until he heard my husband say that he was ready to make an offer on the car--then, we suddenly seemed to matter. Ultimately, we were not able to come to an agreement on a price for the car. Understandable--the car was lower mileage, higher cost and had features we were not interested in. Again, this was not the reason I am rating the dealer. I spent the last few days looking for other certified pre-owned Acuras and found several in my price range. I returned to Criswell Acura to test drive a car to make sure I liked how the MDX drove. I walked in and was completely ignored. I saw 4 sales people, no customers, and I was ignored. I took several more steps in, still ignored. I approached Jennifer, said hi and she did say hello but that was it. I reminded her that I had just been there the week before and asked if I could drive the car again. To be honest, for all they knew, I could have decided to pay the asking price on the car and had a check in hand, and I would have walked right back out again based on the reception I received. I explained the criteria I was looking for in a certified pre-owned MDX and asked if they had gotten any more in stock, hopefully with the mileage I was looking for. They had not, so I explained that I had found several but was most seriously looking at one in NY and just wanted a quick test drive to make sure I liked how the MDX drove before I went all the way to NY. I explained that I preferred to buy locally but they did not have what I was looking for in stock. I also explained that if I bought the car in NY, I would have accessories put on by Criswell and would be bringing the car there for service since this is my local dealer. Jennifer agreed to let me take it for a test drive, but when she went to get it, the battery was dead. She said she did not have time to bring it to service to get a jump because she was expecting an appointment but I was welcome to schedule an appointment to come back. I explained that I had limited time while my children were in school and really wanted to drive an MDX today, so I'd go over to the new side and ask to drive a 2011 which she and the man next to the door agreed I should do. I explained to the salesman at the new car side what I was doing, and he said he was going to go check what was on the lot. I watched him go directly over to the pre-owned side and he brought Jennifer back over to take me on the test drive. I have a career, spotless credit and enough cash in the bank to buy several new Acura MDX's but was made to feel like I did not matter and was not worth their time. It's a shame because my very good initial impression of Acura was based on my experience with Daryl, but the subsequent interactions were very poor. More

I was a "wait" and got a tour of the available facilities, food and drink by my service advisor. Very comfortable. The car was washed and vacuumed and the recall item was fixed in less than the estimated time. I received a phone call (since I had stepped away) as soon as it was ready. The dealership was great. To start with, I liked the fact that I could set my appointment online, it made it very easy to plan my week. I arrived at my scheduled time and was waited on immediately. This was the first time I had service at Criswell in Annapolis. The service was excellent.
