Dear Carbuyer1111, I remember helping you last Tuesday night and it was a pleasure working with you. As we discussed, one of the challenges was that the MDX Tech Pkg you looked at with 6,000 miles was priced at $39,995 but your budget you said was $33,000. We have a little flexability in price, but our margins are significantly less then this difference. Also, it was pretty clear that we did not have a vehicle that met your requirements for your budget. I do appoligize that there may have been some delay in assisting you and because of the cold snap we had, the battery did go bad on that MDX. Also, our salespeople are only compensated when they sell a vehicle, regardless of the margin. You made it very clear to us that we did not have a car that met your needs or budget and that you were going to New York from Maryland to purchase a car, period. It is ironic because we have a significant client base that comes from New York and New Jersey to purchase vehicles. Our competitive prices, better Maryland roads and less road salt during winter storms lead to higher quality Pre-Owned vehicles. Regardless, I am trying to find an acceptable vehicle for you as we speak and please feel free to deal directly with me from now on.
