Everytime I bring my MDX in for service, Mark, Chris and David are incredibly accomodating and professional. My car is always ready when promised, pulled up out front and freshly washed. I just moved to the area, and visiting Criswell Acura for my MDX service was a surprisingly pleasant experience! Mark Scherger made all the difference in the world: he was courteous, knowledgeable, and my MDX service was a surprisingly pleasant experience! The service representatives are very candid and knowledgeable and I have never had any problems with any work preformed in the shop. If my reasons (ie for the only reason statement)are helpful I purchased my 2004 TL (new) from another dealer when it took the Criswell sales rep three weeks to respond to my request for a price quote and likely delivery date for a factory order on the color and options my wife and I selected. After that the response that I received from the regional representatives in California on some obvious quality problems (bumber covers not being the same color as the rest of the car, etc --- ie they are are all that way and we do not care) changed my previously held opinion (call it trust)of what I could expect from Honda. I had previously purchased two new 1992 Honda Accord EXs, a third new 1993 Honda Accord EX, and a two-year old 1993 Honda Prelude (all from Honda of Annapolis) without a lot of consideration of Honda's competition for this reason. About two years after I purchased the TL, it took five phone calls to Criswell before the individual that handled the sale of extended warranties got back to me with a price quote. My most recent purchase from Criswell was of a used 2006 MDX in June of 2009 and my my impression of the sales representative was very positive. I do need to say however that whoever it is in sales who makes the decisions as to needed (ie important overdue work with the potential for post-sale problems) pre-sale maintenance/repairs did not do a adquate job on this car. I have been around cars long enough to help myself on this sort of thing (probably more than most of Criswell's customers) but do not think that this sort of thing reflects well on Criswell. The other local shops that I use are BMW of Annapolis (good parts department but in my opinion a poor service department based on my contacts with the service representatives and dealership managment) and Honda of Annapolis (great service and parts departments). Although other services could have been done during this maintenance stop, I was in a hurry because of an unscheduled business trip. Christian was very understanding, took the time to explain the other services that were due, but completely understood and he did press me when I told him I only had time for an oil change. He explained to me what type of oil would be used, provided me with an estimate, and had the work completed very quickly. After the car was ready, he checked back me to ensure that my experience there was a positive one. I was very impressed, but as numerous repeat customer with Creswell since the early 90's, I am never surprised by the professionalism all of the Creswell employees cleats display. More

I work about 20 miles from the dealership and live 60 miles away, but going to Criswell to have my car serviced is worth the drive. Every experience I have had in the 4 years of having my car serviced have been excellent. The staff is friendly and professional; they both email and call to confirm that my car is complete. They always call to discuss any issues or additional work that needs to be done, and give me good options; ex: you can have this done today, but it will not be critical until this date and we can schedule you for another appointment. I've never felt like any of the staff has been pushy as I've felt with other service centers. I feel like I can trust the work that is being done; and that security is very important to me. More

I was able to schedule an appointment for my MDX's recall 3 business days from when I called, which was great. The recall was taken care of quickly, and my passenger air vent was replaced all within about a 3 business days from when I called, which was great. The recall was taken care of quickly, and my passenger air vent was replaced all within about an hour--much faster than I expected it would take. My only regret is that I lost my Villanova car magnet when my car was washed. But, in exchange for a free car wash, I'll consider it a fair trade. Overall, a great experience. Lamont has been fantastic. Service for software upgrade was quick, and they followed up with a free car wash. Waiting area was clean and comfortable.
