My service experience was terrific. My car was taken in early and John went over with me my requested services which included the resolution on an Acura RL recall. My daughter brought our vehicle (MDX 2005) in for an oil and filter change. Before I could stop the servicet it turned into a check up appointment. This was $100.00 more than I anticipated. My daughter was later called and told that she could not pay for the vehicle and that the service was more than 2000.00. She called me in tears-absolutely hysterical with the matter of fact way she had been spoken to. I called Acura and spoke with our service rep and was told that this had to be done. Well, rather than saying 'here are your options', I was made to feel that this was it. Around the Holidays and during this economic down turn-$2000.00 is not pocket change and I was made to feel like that was what was expected. I am a Nurse and when my daughter called me at the hospital, I really thought I was going to have to leave work and head to where she was because she was inconsolable. This surprise service 'need' has happened before at Acura-I think the company is rather arrogant. The last time the MDX was in I was told that something had to be done to the headlights. This time it was not even addressed. That seemed strange to me as I was told the last time that this was a safety issue and now, without intervention, it was not even brought to my attention. We have decided to not use Criswell Acura any more. We will either find an independent Honda/Acura service company or sell the car. More

Chris provided an accurate cost and length of time for the work in advance. Everything was completed as predicted. The lounge area was comfortable with fine refreshments. I brought my car in because of a flat tire and I wasn't sure if i can run over something or if there was a problem with the tire itself. I was so pleased that they were able to take my car right in even th sure if i can run over something or if there was a problem with the tire itself. I was so pleased that they were able to take my car right in even though I didn't have an appointment and since it was a Saturday I knew that it was a a possibility of not being able to be seen. Thankfully you were able to see me, and have me in and out in less than an hour and to top it off you washed my car! I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks again! More
Based on my first impression, I would recommend thus dealership because they were short staffed and I was able to get in and out in under an hour.
