I have owned and recently test drove other luxury brands (Volvo, Audi, Lexus, Infinity) but this is by far the best car buying experience I ever had. Very friendly and yet respectful employees. I could get used to service like this. Mr. Johnson could not have been more polite and responsive to my concerns. I was very concern that I had a fluid leak - transmission or power steering - having just purchased the car used with only 20K miles on it. I really had no idea that an appt time meant just that. Being accustomed to dropping a car off and having a mechanic look at when he could, I just didn't grasp the invitation to wait while the repair was done or the significance of the mechanic waiting in the port to open the door for me upon my arrival and immediately driving the car to the service area. I had not even arrived at work when I got a call saying my car was done and ready to be picked up. It was less than an hour, maybe 45 mins. Mr. Johnson acted like he had all the time in the world explaining what was found and what they had done. The 8:00pm service pick up was a God send. Luckily, it was not a leak but fluid which had accumulated in the undercarriage from the recall repair. My battery was replaced free of charge because the mechanic did not feel it was in good enough order. There was a little hesitation on start up and the terminals were badly corroded. Everything was covered under warranty - totally free of charge and free of hassle. The following morning, I looked under the hood expecting to clean all the fluid tanks which I had found hard to read due to an accumulation of dirt and grit when I was trying to figure out where the leak may be coming from. The mechanic (sorry to say I don't know his name) had cleaned all the tanks for me. The only thing I can say -- and it is really too minor to mention -- is that some of the battery acid must have splashed on my fancy engine cover pitting it. I love the 2008 manual transmission TSX and the service I received. I am looking forward to a long and happy relationship and would highly recommend this station. More
vehicle taken ahead of scheduled appt date. problems diagnosed properly and repaired perfectly; however, labor rate much higher than expected so only had one item corrected. $112 charged to diagnose diagnosed properly and repaired perfectly; however, labor rate much higher than expected so only had one item corrected. $112 charged to diagnose problems. i was under the impression that if the vehicle was repaired, the diagnostic fee would removed (at least this is what i overheard another service advisor tell a customer AND how it has been at other dealerships i have visited) and i would only pay for parts & labor of the repair. i can see being charged for half the diagnostic hourly rate ($56) since i only had half the work performed. to be charged the $112 AND the repair seems unfair, but my fault for not getting this straight at the beginning. service hours are wonderful. i like the ability to pickup or dropoff till 5pm on saturdays since i live 1.5 hrs away. More

I have worked with Chris Thomas in the servicedepartment for the last several years. I have referred friends and collegues-recently my boss-to Criswell for service. My car has never been to a neighborhood mechanic-only to Criswell. I have driven the car many miles over the last 5+ years. I am a health care administrator and have to depend on my vehicle in all types of weather. My car has been 100% reliable. In the next year or so, I will be buying my third vehicle from Criswell Acura. Prices are not what keep people as return customers. It is relationships. Chris Thomas is a person of integrity -a rare find in today's world. He recommends what service my car needs and i get out the check book. If he says it's needed, that's enough for me. More
Mike Scandora was very helpful, genuine, straight forward and patient with me as I vacillated from buying a used to a new car. Both men clearly love what they do and are very knowledgeable about all things Acura as well as the range of emotions a person goes through when considering purchasing a vehicle. I never felt pushed or pressed and it is their range of knowledge of not only the car but what I wanted and what would suit me best that kept me with them and Criswell during this experience. Consequently, I am thrilled with my choice of a 2011 Acura MDX and it is evident that the customer service at Criswell extends beyond signing the papers for a new car. Mike was excited to tutor me on the car's technological capabilities and both are eager to have me spend time with them walking through the bells and whistles so I am comfortable and confident in my new car. My first meeting with Mike was a friendly and informative one. I was in the process of looking for a vehicle not sure of what I wanted. Mike did not bother me with phone calls. Based on a noise in my car, Mark,took the time knowing the frustration I had and talked to Tom, the mechanic and my car was checked out. Tom showed me the problem another mechanic did.
