2012 Focus Transmission Recall Took in 2012 Focus in for the TCM recall, repair and received a 500.00 repair bill at end of process. We were told that the transmission had extended Took in 2012 Focus in for the TCM recall, repair and received a 500.00 repair bill at end of process. We were told that the transmission had extended 100,00 mile warranty do to poor construction, car only has 83,000 miles on it. Cronin called and told us that the transmission actuator was bad and it is considered a wearable part in the transmission that will take two hours labor to fix. It is my understanding that the actuator needs to be removed to replace clutch. Hmmmm? We asked for explanation and were told that we would get a call back when they get an answer. I am still waiting for an answer. My daughter picked up the car up and got no explanation given to her. We left feeling less than happy with the entire experience. I would avoid making the same mistake as us! More

Before coming across Cronin, I got every variation of the stereotypical car sales pitch, from forced add-ons to finance tricks -- Cronin was so much better in every respect -- no tricks, no tactics, no games. This seems like a simple concept but when it's a vehicle in high demand it feels like an impossible task, and I had almost given up on finding an honest dealer.
