Jeep won't stand by faulty part & scratched and dented car Took my 2013 jeep grand Cherokee into the shop for a knocking. Under the powertrain warranty mileage. Service dept. could not diagnose after having Took my 2013 jeep grand Cherokee into the shop for a knocking. Under the powertrain warranty mileage. Service dept. could not diagnose after having the car for a week and idling out 1/2 a tank of gas....So I picked the car up and within 15 minutes at the gas station it was making the noise, drove directly back and they heard it then. They finally diagnosed it as a seized roller tappet on the lifter....and informed me that I was days past the powertrain warranty expiration. Long story short they (Jeep) would not stand behind their faulty part. Jeepcares said that the dealer told them not to help with the repairs etc. After informing me of the needed repairs and the 2700 expense to me I was informed the part was on backorder....why? because its a common problem. After several weeks, I finally ordered the parts myself and did what jeep couldn't do. Shipped to the dealer and the car was repaired. Kevin was fine to work with, no issues there, he was friendly and responsive, just doing what the bosses told him. I do question their quality of work, after returning home and inspecting their work they managed to scuff the air box components up significantly by dragging across concrete or something as well as the engine cover. There is a paint chip and slight dent on the fender near the engine bay as well that is fresh. looks like they dropped a tool or something. I assume they didn't use a fender pad to protect my car. If this is how a paying customer's vehicle is treated, I wouldn't trust another with them. More

My salesman was awesome. My salesman was very good. There was an issue with the vehicle I purchased. We pulled it into the service bay right after the test drive. They fixe My salesman was very good. There was an issue with the vehicle I purchased. We pulled it into the service bay right after the test drive. They fixed the problem and also put four new tires on it because the tires were old and they did not feel that they were safe. I was very appreciative of that. Unfortunately, the vehicle would not start the following day. I'm not sure what is going on. I'm hoping it just needs a new battery. Although I have encountered this problem, I would highly recommend this dealership. More
