Thank you Mr. Squires it was unfortunate that the vehicle was sold to someone else. There were circumstances that you didn’t put in your review. You live in Vero Beach and we’re in St. Petersburg we didn’t know if you were actually interested since the credit card number you gave us wasn’t valid, and we could not reach you when someone local came to purchase the vehicle. Originally told us you were coming Saturday but didn’t come to pick it up on that day instead called to say you couldn’t come until Sunday or Monday. We really questioned whether you were sincere in buying the truck. At some point on Saturday our sales person Anthony called and told you the vehicle has been sold, you gave him 5 Review Stars, Lisa was on vacation, you gave Lisa 5 Review Stars. We did offer to sell you a new 2018 Sierra like the one you had the interest in, the payment was $16 more per month than the used 2017 model, and you turned the deal down. It was a deep discount since the other vehicle had been sold. You did speak to our senior Sales Manager Bob Patterson , he gave you the price quotes on the 2018 model and apologized for the circumstances. You did call Mike Mathis, he is currently on vacation, he did not return your call and I don’t know why not. It’s not our practice to let calls go unanswered. That day Tuesday the 3rd of July you called Joe Lamphier our VP, he was not at work as he was taking some time off with the holiday and called you the following week upon his return. He asked you to please take a call from me so I could understand how you felt about what happened and make amends, I called you three times that day and the next to no avail. He also asked you to call him back after talking to me to see if we satisfied you, you did not. Instead you wrote several reviews which is certainly your right. You said in your review I only contacted you after you posted reviews, that’s not true I became aware of your reviews at some point but it was after Mr. Lamphier told me about his conversation with you that I started calling you. We are truly sorry if we miscommunicated with you. More importantly I would have liked to discuss it with you, even just so I could tell you we were sorry that we inconvenienced you.
