My Dad's 87 Chevy Monte Carlo had been running rough & stalling, and I contacted the service advisor, Greg Berry, and he told me to not drive it in, but have it towed, and they'll check it out. I had d stalling, and I contacted the service advisor, Greg Berry, and he told me to not drive it in, but have it towed, and they'll check it out. I had done so, and they advised me that it was the catalytic converter that was clogged and needing replacing. Greg told me the cost involved, before the work was done (which I appreciated very much), and had them go ahead with it. They had the work done off site, at a muffler shop of their choice, whom they trusted to do good work, and though it was a few days without the car, it's running great again. Bill Hevel had told me the car was ready to pick up -- as Greg was out that day, and their courtesy driver, Greg Walker, had arranged with me a pick up time, so that he could bring me in to get the car. And, of course, Doris Smith, at the cashier desk, is always pleasant, has paperwork ready, and is quick on getting payment processed, so that I can be on my way. I thank everyone again at Crown Buick/GMC for the professional courtesy shown, and keeping apprised of the situation with my Dad's car. Thank you all! More
